If you have a Switch Online account, you can download these using 5-10 Platinum MyNintendo coins. Then you can use these icons/borders/backgrounds to customize your Switch profile icon. Nintendo usually swaps the available icons every week or two, depending. Since they are only available for a limited time, it is worth checking once and a while.

@@ShadowZero1980 The NES Classic GBA link cable modes are tacked-on at best because playing hotseat is easier and faster. Ice Climber is the exception because it is simultaneous play. If playing GBA games on a GBA, you need GBA cables. If playing GB/GBC games on a GBA, you will need a GB/GBC link cable (or do the trick shown in this video). If playing GB or GBC games on an OG GB or GBC, you will obviously need a GB/GBC link cable.

@@dbnpoldermans4120 Yeah, I had to test it for myself to double check. Unfortunate because the co-op link mode is the best way to play. I'm guessing it was removed to possibly save cart space for a feature that probably wasn't used much. Cramming 4 games on 1 cart, gotta save space somewhere I guess...

Eh, if you were outside with plenty of sun, the OG GBA and 001 is fine (I played Boktai like this back in the day). But in any other environment, the 101 model is a million times better.

That is exactly why I wanted to make this video. This cable is super rare and was only able to make this video thanks to Patreon subscriber Anapan. He saw all my other link cable content and wanted me to make videos using the Micro so he sent me this cable. You are correct though. It is cheaper and more efficient to just buy another GBA and a standard link cable than trying to track one of these down.

@@ugarit5 Yes, Shorts take much less time to create. But I am happy with all the NGPC linking games I covered. Don't think I will make any more because they got so few views. And yes, at the time of this post, I only have one DC-to-NGPC linking game left. Funny you ask because I am playing through both games now... and holy cow are they awful. Unfortunately, the link mode in the NGPC game only becomes unlocked when you basically finish the game. Must admit, it has been rough to find this motivation because the NGPC is literally a slot machine simulator. You basically need to hit the jackpot many times, which is very random and requires hours of grinding. Already sank many hours into this slogfest and finding it very difficult to continue. And the music is driving me mad. There is a reason why no one has documented this link process before.

@@ZackGaz It must be a flag there that can be edited quickly using a hex editor. Unfortunately there are few ppl knowing ngpc code,if it was a gameboy game i couldve helped.
