I'd be keen to make a video explaining g this to everyone but I'll give you the rundown for sure 😄 Driving: renting a car from Omoshiro, Toyota or Nissan "rent a car" is straight forward and easy. As long as you have a driving permit from your state (for Vic RACV does it) and your passport + drivers license, youre set! Experience: if you drive on the roads in Australia, it is very similar to Japan. Road signs are fairly straight forward, stop signs are Triangles that are red, parking signs are in circles and there is a Wikipedia page that explains them in English. The drivers are way more courteous over there and will be more aware of surrounding cars. (I have rarely been cut off or denied a lane change like we get all the time in Melbourne) Speeding is commonplace, as long as you're doing under 115 in an 80, cameras and police won't bat an eye, so follow the flow of traffic and stick to what people are doing. Half the manual and auto ends to bridge the gap pre much

With the auto diff, it's averaging 1300rpm to 1400 roughly last i recall. It's not too bad for a gtt box which is good 🙌

I believe it was about 40mm, there was a post on the SAU forum that had the measurements I however got a shop to assist with the conversion as I didn't have appropriate tools to finish the job

Glad to hear an answer from someone with heaps of wrx experience! I've probably sunk thousands into the car just to get it to pass roady. At the end of the day, it still needed another few thousand just to keep it on the road without a hitch 😅

Definitely lost on it as i traded it in, buttt the Swift for the price is actually the cheapest near new japanese hot hatch i could find, from new they are $34k aud, I got mine for $24k with 44,000km's on it

if it was an STI he wouldnt have any issues. standard wrx are prone to issues but the sti isnt problematic at all and quite reliable
