This Duke team was missing a key piece, something like a shane battie, or a grant hill or a Bobby Hurley, Christian Leather ,Jason williams ,just one of those leaders ,championship is Guaranteed ,they were too young of a team.

Makes me emotional watching this game. Chapel Hill took a lot of heat for being a mediocre home crowd. When George Lynch got that steal and dunk to take the lead I’m pretty sure Chapel Hill was anything but a “ Wine & Cheese “ crowd😂😂😂

Thanks again for this channel and these uploads. Jones is doing a Great job but brings back great memories hearing Woody and Mick. Wasn't uncommon back then to mute certain annoying tv announcers and watch the game with the Radio and Woody calling the game.

I remember this game very well. I miss Dean Smith, and Woody Durham also--pure class on the radio. And to Mick Mixon: I sure hope you had a good glass of rose and some cheddar. GO TAR HEELS!

Several ballgames I’ve been to at Carolina over the years. This game to date, is still one of the loudest crowds I’ve ever heard. It rivaled some of the games in Carmichael Auditorium. Loved it. 💙🤍
