I totally agree with all of what you've said. Our St Lucian mentality is so wrong. Farmers don't want to work on the farms because before their produce is ready for harvest someone have stolen them. I am aboard and cannot believe what I'm hearing about how political parties are hurting the progress of individuals if they do not support them. Those politicians are no different to the colonizers. I'm in my late 50's and unfortunately, I am thinking of elsewhere to retire and not my homeland...it's a shame🇱🇨🇬🇧

They are fathers,mothers,sisters and brothers all from St Lucian households. I use to think the criminality was only gang related, far from that. The whole society has become so desensitized another murder don’t even make the news and we just move along. A gentleman was found dead in the river under suspicious circumstances. A 65 year old man and definitely not gang related. I swear it feels like the criminals have won.

Your title should be " lets make the snakes great again". Snakes have practically taken over the island. After the snakes were pushed out of the Praslin development they ended up in Canaries then Belvedere and Bouton. I own 12 acres of land and my family owns 36 between Belvedere and Bouton. I left an orange orchid, a julie mango, cocoa, avocado and loafs of banja. The snakes are in charge. The colonials paid to kill them but they turn back to tell us to leave the snakes alone because their venom has value.
