Spider robot learns how to walk on its own
In this project, we used Isaac Gym to train a servo-based quadrupedal spider robot to walk. The training significantly improved its locomotion. Unlike the previous hand-coded version using inverse kinematics, where the robot could only walk straight or rotate, it can now move in any direction on a flat surface and perform tasks like walking straight and turning.
