Thank you for sharing this personal struggle! We all feel this way from time to time. We have to remember that bad times are the result of the EVIL in the world. God gives us free will so He often won't interfere and will let us work through our difficulties. He does promise to bless us for getting through them and He sometimes uses them to draw us closer to and more reliant upon Him! Here are a few verses that I hope will comfort you! Psalm 62:5-8: "Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I shall not be shaken". Philippians 4:6-7: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God". Psalm 9:9-10: "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble". Psalm 55:22: "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken".

Sweet sister ... ALL that is required is to BELIEVE that JESUS CHRIST is the ONE AND ONLY SON of God himself and that He died on the cross to save you and all of us from our sins and that he rose on the 3rd day and after 40 days on Earth, he ascended into Heaven where He dwells today with God until the time that He comes to take us home! THAT IS ALL, sweet friend! JUST BELIEVE!!!! We can do our best to live holy lives but we will always fail ... that is WHY we needed HIS SALVATION!

I do understand and empathize with your situation, sister! Remember that it only takes one other person to "qualify" for the Lord as assembling together to worship Him! If you know one friend, neighbor, etc ... you could even just speak on the phone for a brief time of prayer and support ... or just text back and forth. I know it isn't ideal to not meet in person but even the "meeting of minds" would count I believe, to our Lord! ((HUGS))

We just reach a point when we realize, certain people aren't open to hear so we have to leave them in His hands! I'm so very sorry that you experience so much pain. Dear Sister in Christ, I am so sorry that we share this same heartbreak! There are far too many of "us" these days. I was just thinking about your comment and how we would have NEVER dreamed of cutting OUR parents out of our lives. These kids today already have their minds made up BEFORE they are old enough to leave home! They are influenced by others and even "adults" who push the entitlement agenda on them!! It's a Satanic attack on the family unit as a whole! If our children had not had the outside voices constantly telling them how "abused or neglected or mistreated" they were, they would eventually have matured and actually had time to work through things with their parents ... coming to a point of respect and appreciation. Instead, they go out into the world on their own and out of foolish PRIDE will NEVER admit they are struggling or were wrong! I'm so glad you made your way to my channel and I'm blessed that it helps you to feel less alone. God bless you, my friend!

@@JoyinthisDarkness Yes! You are so right it is a downright attack from Satan himself on the family. I had an abusive childhood and some of my family members even today are challenging. But I never have given it a thought to separate myself from my parents or other abusive family members! It is so sad to see what is becoming of the family unit. I will add you to my prayer journal and I will be praying that the Lord will continue to use you to reach others and for your comfort as well. ~Rosemarie

@@Carsonrose75 I have a video where I share that I only "estranged" my hurtfully abusive father AFTER he passed away. It's taken me a lifetime to estrange my very abusive sister and I notoriously take her back. Even as recent as this past Thanksgiving! These kids today have NO heart!

Yes, sin of omission is real! This verse is from the Old Testament which was definitely under the law / covenant… before Grace. However I still feel it applies as it proves WHY we need Grace because our flesh can deceive us or even fight against the nudging of the Holy Spirit. Thankfully, He does not forsake us and we eventually are made “aware” of our sin.

Ultimately we always have a choice but I feel that one who was truly filled with the Holy Spirit by true Salvation, would never compromise to the point of losing it!

Sweet friend, first let me give you some BIG HUGS!!!! We all are dishonest at times ...sometimes to protect ourselves, sometimes to protect others and sometimes to just not have to deal with an issue. It doesn't sound like you were being malicious but rather didn't want to deal with or confront a problem or issue or disagreement. I think that sort of comes with setting personal boundaries. Often times with our children or another close family member, it is much more difficult to share completely honestly because you have too much "history" with them, and it can open a whole "can of worms" and escalate quickly. All of us are going to sin ... even repeatedly especially in the areas where we are the most vulnerable. I still believe that if we are truly sorry and feel sad and ashamed and come before the Lord with a sincere desire to change that behavior, we can know that we were "truly saved" to begin with and therefore cannot lose our salvation! The beautiful thing about GRACE is that we are already forgiven before we even sin!!! God KNOWS that we will sin before we even commit that sin! He also knows our conviction and whether or not we are truly His! He does not desire to lose ANY of us! I do believe that we are resistant to change and continually repeat the same sin over and over ... that (like I said in the video) that He will PUNISH us here on Earth. Punishment can be as simple as getting "caught in our fibs"! You WILL NOT lose your salvation for having a weakness of the flesh!!! JESUS PAID THE PRICE ON THE CROSS for NOW AND FOREVER, sweet sister! Put your hands up and PRAISE HIS NAME! Much love to you, my sister in CHRIST!!!

As I've many times stated, I am just a woman who loves the Lord, has experienced much heartache but wants desperately to share His Word with others and help other realize that they are not alone responsible for their situations! SIN did this to our world and only JESUS can save us from the sufferings of it all! I go back and forth in my mind as to how "much" I should share and whether or not it is "disrespectful" of my family members. Until the Lord impresses upon me otherwise, I feel that sharing is what he would expect so that others do not feel isolated in their feelings and experiences. I pray that you will find His peace to heal over your many past hurts as well!!! You are a precious lady and have much to offer other believers! Yes, I can most definitely share my shoulders to your sorrow sweet friend! Any time! I also find that Christians are more often to be introverts and do spend more time in private. I think that is good because it gives us time for introspect and reflection on our Lord and His Word and His desires for our life! PRAISE JESUS!

@@Marie_Tanguy dear, sweet sister, there of course are situations where the adult child has to break free from real abuse … I should have made that a point! I was looking from the parental side of my own experience. The truth is that I am now “emotionally and mentally estranged” from my father who passed away in 2018. I was the youngest child … the “good girl” who never got into trouble but as an adult I realized how little my father actually thought of me. I was devoted to caring for him in his latter years and had him move in with me the last 9 months of his life while he was on hospice care. He was cruel to me and destroyed what little self-worth I had. I had an emotional breakdown after he passed away. I’m so sorry if my viewpoint from the parental perspective upset you! It sounds like you simply set healthy boundaries for yourself and the Bible supports that!!! Much love and big hugs 🤗 to you!!!
