I love, love, love this house. Its perfect.

Worked for Scottish Gas for more than twenty years on the Isle of Bute, including Port Bannantyne, the town shown in the video. Kames Castle was always of interest to me, but I was always too busy to visit. I know the Stuart family had roots in Ardmaliesh which is very close to the castle, so I’m presuming this was the family seat. I know the Stuart Kings of Scotland used the island as a holiday retreat, their main castle being in the much larger and main town on Bute - Rothesay Castle. Thanks for posting.
