Luciana Lamothe’s work, curated by Sofía Dourron at the 60th International Art Exhibition, La Biennale di Venezia, addresses the urgent need to transcend hegemonic ways of inhabiting the planet. Her installation, a system of scaffolding and phenolic plywood, overtakes the Argentina Pavilion, creating a forest of forms that blur boundaries between rigidity and flexibility, the industrial and the natural.
