You play the first world of this and never play the continued for over a year and half, was it because it was not popular enough at that time that is why you did not continue it. Also world 1 world ending Boss in this version is the same difficulty as the NES and SNES version.

The 3 chess in the toad house is random from mushroo, fire flower, and the leaf, so it does not matter the one who pick, depending on the frame you hit you will get that item, you can used the music as a guide to know the right frame, however the frame to get the leaf for the middle treasure chess, hitting that exact frame for the other 2 treasure will give the other 2 diffrent one. I'm not exactly sure but the middle timming with the song is mushroom, fire flower, then leaf, then it loop. the one on the right timming is Fire flower, leaf, then mushroom then it loop. Then the one on the left is leaf, mushroom, fire flower. Since you got the leaf from the one on the right, if you stop at the one in the middle and pretend to reach the third and still hit the middle one at the same time you hit the 3rd treasure chess the middle would be a fire flower.

The hammer brother you can hit the block from below to defeat them, the reason it did not work before is because you keep missing its hit box, hit box very tiny. I know you thought it did not work hitting the block from bellow the hammer brother, so you end-up trying to defeat it the hardest way possible.

Their is a setting to remove the input at the bottom of the screen and by doing that it increase the game screen size.

I think you have some valid worries about the Ally system, but realistically, we cannot judge it fully so we just gotta wait and see and not worry to death about it. All the info we have is a brief snippet on a Japanese only website most of us can’t reliably translate. Rather than actually having the game in hand and able to play it and understand the mechanics, since pre-release content isn’t always the most in depth. And like, I know it’s not the most attractive idea, but if Allies are really that unappealing, it can just be a house rule to have everyone throw a game so nobody gets the Ally. Which, yes, that still wastes time and an option to turn it off is objectively better, but it’s possibly able to be ignored. As for the Rainbow Galleria thing, I think the worry about the stamp system is valid, but also possibly overexaggerated since the board looks big and like making multiple loops around it will be something you can manage once, maybe twice in a typical 20 turn game. And something I have a theory on for what the gimmick for that board is. It’s a shopping mall… so they’ll give you a lot of coins to go shopping. I’m expecting it to be a board like Faire Square where the focus is on buying a lot of stars and items as well. Like, sure, maybe the economy in this game is all out of wack and you still have too much, but I’m just suggesting my idea for the board’s gimmick, not saying it looks well executed or poorly handled until, again, I can play it. Overall, the game looks really good. I have questions about the new mechanics as well, but they also look interesting and I wanna see how they shake out before passing judgement.
