Testing out Runway Gen 3 - Alpha. For a lifelong filmmaker and animator, this is beyond crazy. Did this in only hours on my phone while having the flu. Still completely on the fence whether to embrace or reject this AI future. It renders all personal skills in animation, lighting and composition irrellevant. So many years of learning the trade now redundant.

@@mollanfilm5181 🤤....the greatest thing about this camera...every apsc lens is usable in full frame...I really think this time Sony has made a mistake making this camera 🙃
@@lb_projektEvery camera has its pros and cons, and their APS-C cameras can record for prolonged amount of time, and also provides higher res photos. Will be using the Snipers with ZV-E10 for upcoming professional shoot. Their FX30 is a beast also.
@@mollanfilm5181 absolutely yes. In fact the only cons for this camera is you really can't use the same lens (apsc) for photos. I've tried shoot in 5 mpx but gets really poor image quality

looks great, even for a5100, with not so high iso, you can get good image quality, at least in the middle. I wonder tho, how close you can focus on 16mm or 75mm. I would also use it as a low light option for hi end camera, though 0.95 would be great, it got no AF yet. Let's not forget variable ND filter, shutter speeds in daylight may limit usage of f1.2, not to mention long exposures at f1.2. I used to have 16mm 1.4 sigma, it was great, but I missed tele a lot, having 75mm as secondary is a must with these, I would otherwise go for sigma 18-50 2.8 or 10-18 2.8 one. 20mm 0.95 manual is great too, but not as a main lens. Anyway its so hard to decide, 12-120 f2-5.6 400g would be ideal lol.
Thank you so much!! Happy you like it! For low light these are obviously the best way to go, and the autofocus works really well even under exposed. A full zoom f2 12-120 at 400gr would be a unicorn, yes 😂 I’ve shot these clips with ND filters for light control. The close focus is extremely good. As you can see on my close up Dolly push in. And the 75 also. Will measure them to be accurate.

How much clear image zoom did you need to apply?
About 1.1x with the active dynamic. 1.2-1.3x when no stabi.
Have you try them on full frame mode? not Super-35. I would love to use them in full frame If the vignetting allows it. That would be a video I would love to see. No one has done it yet... Best.
All these shots are done with the full frame ZV-E1. They have a slight vignette on FF, so there's just a tiny bit of clear image zoom used.
@@mollanfilm5181 So you did not film using the Super-35 mode of the ZV E1, but you zoomed a bit after on the computer to remove the vignetting , do I understand correctly? I would love to see the vignetting on non-zoomed images from the three lens... Thanks for the reply! :)
@@d_clyou can do that or use the built in "zoom" of sony. from test and all it is basically no quality lost vs zoom in post. the clear image zoom is very usefull for extra reach
