I actually have done SEO on all of my videos, but the algorithm has changed as of September and content that generates ad revenue for GL is being pushed out over non-partnered creators like me 💔 I can see in my analytics that my SEO is done correctly as 90% of my views are from Google search results. Hopefully I’ll see a change when I reach that 1K milestone 🤞

Me too, I much prefer feeling immersed in the jungle! I think misting is a myth that a lot of us think is necessary at the beginning (I did! 🙈) But the U.K. has a more humid climate than many hotter countries, so we’re lucky in that many plants can adapt to normal room humidity 😄 thanks so much for watching, Claire 💚

So many people use humidifiers every day with no problem, not just for plants but also for allergies and relief from asthma symptoms 😄 And if we only kept plants that ‘thrive in the place you live in’ then no one would experience growing all the incredible tropical aroids! 🪴Everyone’s houses would just be full of ferns over here ahaha

I agree, an east or west facing window works well for them as they’re not getting the south-facing sun (which is what I’d class as full sun, getting more than 4 hours direct southern sun a day as the main chunk of mid day sun is much more intense) 😄 but also it’s definitely possible to gradually introduce certain plants to a higher light environment, such as sun stressing Hoya

Aw thank you so much! 💚 I have mine one foot under a grow light, also getting some sun from outside as it’s near a window. I didn’t fertilise when it was first rooting but after it started actively growing from the tips I began fertilising with each watering. I’ve gone about 1-2 months between watering. Was it an established plant or a rooted clipping? When they’re first starting out they can grow a bit thin and later growth will thicken up, but if it’s an established plant and it’s growing straggly that’s probably either not enough light, or it needs fertiliser. Hope this was helpful! 🥰

Ooh amazing, I hope you have a great time growing with them they’re a fun tool to play around with! That’s such a cool idea 😄 I don’t know about Ivy but there’s a plant that looks like miniature Ivy but isn’t called Ficus quercifolia that you might like. For some colour, have you looked at Jewel orchids? There are some really cool ones with a neon looking red on a velvety black leaf, they’re very eye-catching. I don’t have a vid on it but my friend Alina posted one recently (@littleplantlover)

I think i am up to around 30 cuttings and just a silly amount of seeds. After seeing the desert rose I'm already looking for space for a desert setup🙄. iv taken your advice on the orchids (got a few diff), Ficus quercifolia. also throwing in some spider plants as gap fillers. along with a few Strawberrys at the very top. in 18 months will be food for a baby gecko.🦎 just about check out (@littleplantlover) 💚 my fingers are turning green is this a normal response to moss poles lol thanks again Darren :)

Yes that’s true, I’m lucky as my dog has no interest in my plants! The Asparagus setaceous is the worst (I think) because the fronds also cause skin irritation. I would like to get a Thai Con eventually, they’re pretty, but I do love my Albo 🥰
