Gär visst inte att skicka med foton här. men fästet är en liten plåtbit som är fastskruvad i två hål i ett nöra som går ut strax över topplocket på motorn. Alltså öra som går ut från den del som termostathuset är skruvat i. Plåtbiten är som ett T med stapeln i T:et fastskruvad i örat och med en bockning på den delen så att fästytan uppe kommer i samma nivå som reglaget. På min sitter den ovanpå motorn och på en äkta YSE sitter den på vänster sida. Det öra som jag skrev om finns bara på YSB8.... Så där var mitt råd felaktigt. Köpte mycket från Sunity i Taiwan, vevstake begagnad från USA och resten från Lidingö marin. Insprutningspumpen från Sunity höll inte tätt, fick en ny, men även den var dålig. Det var pumphuset som hade för dålig ytfinhet invändigt. Fick tillbaks pengarna förutom transaktionsavgifter. Tog delar från en av de nya och använde mitt gamla pumphus. Om du köper pump från dem, skruva ur utloppsventilen och kolla hur botten inne i pumphuset ser ut. Är det ojämnt så reklamera.

@@vincentenlund2952 Båda från Sunity, samma med kolvringarna. Det är en stor prisskillnad. Samma med injectorn, köpte även den från sunity. Insprutningspumpen blev inte bra. Topplockspackningen från Sunity har nackdelen att packningsklister måste användas. Så den köper man bättre från Lidingö

I bought a new assembly, I wanted to be sure to avoid all problems. Later I found out that I got a fresh assembly with boat and to change the main part had been enough. As I'm fresh on working with engins, my deal with myself was to buy new parts.

The first is on the fine filter on the fuel line. Second is on the entrance to the high pressure pump. Third is on the exit of the high pressure pump. You should also had opened the bolt on the fuel line to the injector. Both should be open. You have to open the third bolt a lot before the air gets out. Tight the third. Crank the enigine until you get clean fuel out at the injector, bolt 4. Full trottle at all moments. After that the engine should start. If it's not do not work, you probably have other issues. The linkage to the high pressure pump may needs to be adjusted. If the have a new high pressure pump it may be faulty. The valves can be pitted and thus not tight. If you need to crank a lot, remove the belt from the waterpump else you may flood the engine

You can buy parts from Sunity in Taiwan. You find them both on Alibaba and other sites. In Sweden Lidingö Marin sells original parts and they have almost everything. You have also a man in Denmark who can get everything else. Yanmar marine engine repair and discussion forum on facebook is a good place for information and contacts @@kestutistursa4883

There are two methods. 1. Hear the injection sound 2. See when the surface on the injection pipe moves. In both cases it shall be compared with the marking on the flywheel. I had problems with both methods. Perhaps as a result of a faulty injection pump. But did as good as possible and got it to run nicely. Don't remember the sequence I sorted the things out. Only that before removing the adjustment plates the engine had a ruff sound and after a more soft sound. So I guess that I got it right.

@@syteres Thank you, - Do you mean that diesel injection must be started at the flywheel mark? - Or should the injection be ready at the marking? - Or should lie somewhere between these two points? - This could also be measurable with a micrometer on the diesel pump...

Check the service manual, you have a 10 degree mark and around that the injection shall come@@marchel6282

Svarar om jag har någon aning om svaret, men gå på mitt namn i stället Leif Sundberg. Jag ställde mycket frågor på den internationella Yanmar-gruppen för marinmotorer. Det mest avancerade som jag skruvat på tidigare är vanliga cyklar. Min fördel är att jag är bra på att ta reda på hur man gör saker, läsa manualer och ställa frågor. Fick lite kommentarer kring min bristande erfarenhet, men den skäms jag inte för, tycker att det är storartat att ha modet att ge mig in i ett sådant projekt och gå i mål i tid.

In my case yes. I had to remove all shims. Changed injection pump. The engine run with the shims as well, but it got smoother running without the shims. Found it difficult to both hear and see when the diesel comes. But neither is very sharp nowadays.

I think I got the timeing perfect, but I found it hard both to see and hear the timeing. Now the engine runs soft and nice. Before it run more ruff

Thanks for sharing. My engine is a similar YSM8. BTW, I was a visa resident of Sweden in 1993, with a Swedish Personal Identity Number. Then, I lived in Japan for 14 years.
