This logo is expected to be shown on the 2025 homemade VHSs of the said Apple TV original films on my community tab as well as those said select Amazon MGM and Searchlight films. Other titles expected to be released homemade by the company include Sea Fever, Hundreds of Beavers (one of my all-time favorite movies) and Duran Duran: A Hollywood High.

This was the year MGM/CBS morphed into MGM/UA entertainment co.

I have the mid-1990s Columbia-TriStar Home Video VHS of this movie.
I have this movie on Blu ray
This is the exact same opening and closing as it were in my original 1982 RCA/Columbia Betamax release of “Annie”.
A pretty bare-bones release; all it has is just the warning screens, the Neon Mickey logo, the movie itself, and just one trailer at the end, for "Old Yeller".
My original RCA/Columbia “Text Only” Betamax of “Annie” from 1982 has the same closing, and it has the 400 Hz tone WSOD which was lower pitched and is quite a surprise.
Love Alan Silverstri's funky music score in this.
This film was originally released by Allied Artists. Currently, the rights to this film are owned by Warner Bros. (via Lorimar Motion Pictures).
There’s also another early RCA/Columbia 1982 release of “Annie”, but it has the text with no logo on it. I saw it on eBay and it was an original 1982 Betamax release with text only without the logo. The 1982 VHS of “Annie” is definitely hard to find, but insanely rare.

I have the 1987 MCA Home Video VHS of this tape.
This is actually really good for Plotagon. I enjoyed the plot and especially the twist towards the end. However, I would advise toning down the swear words in future projects, as it feels rather edgy and contrived. Overall, 8/10!

Interesting that a Universal film was dostributed by MGM/CBS Home Video, and not MCA Videocassete.
Right, man. Perhaps, it's also interesting that a 20th Century-Fox film was released on videocassette by MGM/CBS Home Video instead of Magnetic Video Corporation.

Sherlock Holmes is a great movie, i like that one The Thin Man and The Maltese Falcon, they were all great movies.
I have the ultra rare rental copy of this, although my copy has previews for Old Yeller, Darby O’Gill and the Little People, and Mary Poppins at the end.
At the time of release it was the most recently produced full length animated film to be released on video. It was the only new Disney animated feature to do so until the little mermaid in 1990
