You can play sim with the hotas and try helis on the hotas
Yup once you get a plane your locked in this endless cycle of grinding and it becomes so painful you need to spend money on a premium just to get to top tier

Just get the bf109 in US tech tree or XP-50. Both are good intro planes to this game.

No other combat vehicle game comes close to the amount of content, variety and maps/gamemodes to War Thunder. Once you actually get good and dominate with tactics it becomes extremely satisfying
