I played 8 hours of this. I pressed up, smashed x… story was bland.. I gave up since it wasn’t fun. Either you need to have an interesting story, or fun gameplay. If they have neither then I’m just watching a bad anime. FFX is a linear game with no cities, only tiny towns, and is one of my favourite in the series.

I enjoyed it alongside the PS1 Resident Evil and Dino Crisis games. ...the parts where player must maneuver while shooting, bypassing death traps and puzzle solving. The Save Game options allows players to rest if exhausted from gameplay...and continue after a decent rest.

Always loved this kind of visual aesthetic from the 2000s. There’s a feel to this game’s setting, plot and cast that just hits right.

One of the few games I've played through multiple times. Loved it. Aiming is clunky sure, but I liked the vibe, art, characters, and gameplay must have been good enough for me too.

Funny enough, I found this video because RUclips kept recommending me a video showing off all the horror shows and it made me curious about the actual game. Then I saw this video immediately afterwards.

I imagine in hinddight ther should hsve done what bbs did. Tell the story from 3 perspectives. Zacks, Angeals and Genesis. But that would have needed lots of reworking i asume and lots of original content. With angeals and genesis storys ending earlier then zacks..

I think ther simply didnt gave the time to add these thibgs in . Innthe og ther dealt eith this via the fkashbacks wich i think was a smart decision to handle the psp limitation. Ultimatly nomura wasnt the director back then only creative producer. Ther had all decks in other things and the remaster make of CC was simply to get people ub to date. I think with how limitet ther wher back then ther did a good job with the story and did what. Ther needed to do even if they wantet it to be more

You can turn auto battle off by default in settings, anyone who mentioms auto battle being a problem didn't even play the game and check the settings, they just hated it for the sake of hating it for who kmows why stupidity maybe? I play this game evsry year alomg with Tales of symphonia and graces f and never gets old always so much fun :).

i think the reason why grand pulse seems either great or terrible to people is because you either like the on rails design of the first half of the game, with it's fast paced action, cutscenes and boss fights, or you dislike it because theirs no open exploration like with other ff games, and depending on how you feel about the first half will directly effect how you feel about the second half of the game

This game is one of my favourite games of all time! I remember seeing the trailers on tv and knew I had to play it. I believe I just started high school when it released and every day I couldn’t wait to get home just to sink into my chair and be fascinated by the graphics and gameplay. I’m still in awe because of this 💜 sure it does have its flaws and moans and groans, but I would play this FF game over all of them hahaha anyways great video on breaking it down 🔥🔥

It's not actually bad as people say - it's way worse than that.

The worst part of XIII is you run out of things to do after you FINALLY start to master and understand the paradigm shift mechanic and battle system. I remember saying "ohhhh" after completing all the missions on Gran Pulse and it all finally clicking together... but there's literally nothing else to do or fight after those. Except grind on the huge turtles for crafting materials to max out your weapons. This is a game that would of benefited greatly from DLC, specially considering that around this era, episodic DLC was a trending thing for many games.

I've honestly kind of come to hate the FF7 sub-series these days, mostly due to the presentation (and to a lesser extent the story changes) of the Remake/Rebirth games as well as its modern fandom's general conduct. However, the original FF7 was the first game to ever move me emotionally - the end of the first disc in particular messed me up as a kid - and so I was always curious about this game that never made it to my neck of the woods. This video is a good reminder - I'll see about checking the game out some time soon.

I’ve played heaps of games, but this is the one that screams the most as the potential for something truly amazing. I feel like if the enemies had just a bit more depth to them then it would be amazing. Queens shadow is my favourite boss simply because it can still fight you as you roll your dice, turning a prieviously safe zone into a threat
