Hunting Public Land (Green River Lake WMA)
First hunt test run on Public land! We set up on Green River Lake WMA in some oaks trees just to see what would walk past us! Big camera records good, but is hard to focus through limbs!

Nice update
Just found your channel and subscribed. We are full-time RVers who are from Ky and we now keep our "homebase" RV site at Lake Cumberland . We just bought new Kayaks and are wanting to learn about new places to paddle. Thanks so much for the videos.
@@stephaniewillard5220 Check my other channel: Kenny Patterson fishing Also Green River lake guide service on Facebook Thanks for watching
I fly fish, but I would have tried a rooster tail, a better chance of a small mouth hitting it also. I have a place out side of Albany. Nice video, I enjoyed it.
Start a wood fire then add your charchol to it and your set.
@@odisdenney690 I ended up doing what you said after supper. I panicked in the moment knowing rain was closing in on me. Thanks for watching
I grew up in Stearns and spent many nights at those campgrounds. We called that area rock creek. We caught a lot of rainbow trout with canned corn. My dad built the bathrooms for those campsites back in the 90’s. Thanks for bringing back those memories.
@@kevlyonsf1982 I’ve stayed there a few times. Thanks for watching!

Enjoy all 3 parts! Looked like a lot of fun!
@@KentuckyWoodsman Thanks for watching!!
Looked like some great fishing! Enjoyed the video.
Looked like a great paddle! I have been wanting to do some trips out that way for a while now. Thanks for sharing your trip.
@@KentuckyWoodsman Thanks… Hit me up if you ever need any information or questions about a float trip!
I think if you can fix up the editing, you'll get a lot more subscribers and fast. There are a lot of edits where you simply cut off the end of a word before you finish speaking, but others where you cut off a sentence midway through lol. Just a tip lol, because there were some one liners that I laughed at lol
@@TobiasKryze Im still learning….Thanks for the tip!!
I wouldn’t turn my back if I were you. But I’m not you, I’m also not an idiot.

nice fish! and cool video, thanks for sharing!!
Really enjoyed your videos on this trip. I've only ever borrowed kayaks and tagged along on some Rockcastle River trips. Currently looking into getting my own and exploring some other rivers throughout the state. This looked like a great time and I love the idea of going solo. Also enjoyed the previous video where you gave a rundown on what you brought and where you stored it.
Thanks for watching!! I will say when you buy a kayak just make sure it’s got a good seat in it! Makes long trip way more comfortable.
Hello I am having to replace my motor ,not fun but what can ya do right ,big hugs from MN
Check around for wrecked buses. Might be able to get a whole bus with a good motor and transmission for cheap.
Yeah I like the way your thinking those bunk beds and those frigerator will be nice
Enjoy your trip. I have been thinking of getting a kayak myself and trying some creeks I am semi-retired 66 years old but my problem is I would be solo how would I get back to my starting location? I guess everyone has a buddy to pick them up?
Yea..have a buddy pick you up or have someone move your truck to the take out point. Russell creek is part of the paddle trail and I think there is a guy in Greensburg that provides a shuttle service for a small fee.
@@ROAMKY thanks so much!
Hello, very much Enjoyed your video. I have been planning to get a 10’ kayak to do this but I cannot figure out how to get back to my starting point? You mentioned getting someone to pick you up at your destination and I guess drive you back including your kayak back to where you initially parked your vehicle? Thanks for any help! I would be doing this alone so I dunno how to get back and if its safe to park somewhere at my starting point?. Thanks again!
I have 2 vehicles, so I either park one at the end or I have someone move my vehicle to the end. If you don’t feel comfortable leaving your vehicle overnight have someone drop it off the day you plan on taking out. Usually friends or family will help out if they know how much you enjoy the outdoors. You can also offer to pay for their meal and a cold beer 🍻

Everyone is converting these buses/vans into campers. My dream is to convert into a simple room away from the house, no bathroom or kitchen. A bed, couch, and a dinette that’s it.
Same here… I wanting a place to sleep on hunting and fishing trips or if I go hiking and don’t feel like driving back home that night.
Woah that’s a Ward international!! Does it have air brakes or hydraulic?
Hydraulic disc brakes all the away around👍🏻
@@ROAMKY Thanks for letting me know. I thought so because I didn't see a yellow air parking brake knob on the bash. I honestly prefer air brakes just because they stop the bus better and hold compared to hydraulics. But other than that I really like your bus. You made a great purchase!
Thanks… I was looking for something that if I broke down on the road. I could to any parts store for parts. Napa, Advance, O’Reilly…etc etc
I went to this district
Cool….small world 🌎
What county did this bus come from since it was used
It said Ashland on the side. That’s in North Eastern Ky
I've never seen a model like that in México, some Towns which have border with United States use ford econoline, ford metro trans or bluebird international. Actually majority of US buses are freightliner model 2010-2011
I've been considering buying one myself for a while. When I show up at a tournament with a boat behind a bus, don't think nothing of it.
That’s the plan!!! No more hotels or tent camping
Looks like a really nice time
Awesome video! Your channel seems really cool!! Just subbed too!👍
Thanks
