Hah-Nah-Bee-Eh (4 syllables, Eh like the e in the word error) (Hanabie = cold flower -> frosty spring weather, Hanabi = fire flower -> fireworks, Hannahbeeyay = nonsense spread by an idiotic PANIC troll) are simply fantastic. No other Japanese female metal band has such a high level of creativity in songwriting. This song may have been suggested to you because it is Hanabie's song with the most views and Hanabie has been quite successful internationally lately. The four young women are completely entitled to their success. Not a single bad song in the catalog, the music videos are very well made, even the earlier ones with almost zero budget, Hanabie are absolutely overwhelming live and the whole band is super likeable and always close to the audience. Our favorite Hanabie song is the older L.C.G (Lollypop Candy Girl), which the band wrote when they were still at school. However, if you want to see how the tiny (<1.50m) singer Yukina briefly meets her ex-boss from this video, watch Tousou (Run Away). If you'd like to see something a little more unknown, we can recommend the massively underrated gem Spiderweb by the band BRATS. This is an experimental rock song from Japan by two sisters.

Strangely enough as much as it would seem so,, you are wrong about Misa. Outside of her stage persona she often regarded by the other Maid's as the most playful, childlike and pure hearted of them all.

I enjoy this song and was happy when I found it, but didn't realise it was popular, I thought it would be niche as hell. I think this is her only song that goes this hard, unless she has released newer stuff that's hard. It's fun. Edit: I think someone referred to this as Nightcore, not sure if that's right.

Yes, we all loved the Tiny Hat, Rest In Peace. MISA was the originator of the Tiny Hat, but she soon ditched it. Akane wore it for quite a while. But the Era Of The Tiny Hat came to an end because it was difficult to keep in place while thrashing those drums.

You should definitely watch more Hanabie, and most of their stuff is good so you probably don't need suggestions, but We Love Sweets or Be the Gal (Early Summer Version) or Otaku Lovely Densetsu are all good next steps.

The typical very first time reaction is _We love sweets_ , because it has the highest shock value. Do it while you are still new to Hanabie to get full experience. The chosen song in this video has in my opinion the best build up part which I heard for a long time.

Nah, metalcore is nowhere near mainstream in Japan, far from it. Hanabie are ofc way more eccentric than your average hxc/metalcore band (they call their own approach harajukucore, same difference). This particular song was their breakthrough hit and has over 8mil views, but 95% of those are from other countries, if not more. Either way the band is an absolute gem! If you feel like you're picking up what they're putting down, check out some more songs and be prepared to be surprised at basically every turn ;)

There are many great Japanese rock/metal bands, but Nemophila is unquestionably in my top three. If I were to recommend a song, I would end up listing their entire discography. Listen to other fans, or take your pick. You will won’t be disappointed. ❤️🌸

Yea that's her name, Eilish is one of her 2 middle names, (the other is Pirate!). This is a very atypical pop/commercial sound for the duo, its very popular, but I like her mostly alternative music a bit better, and love her voice singing any type. She is once in a gen singer imho.. 19 Grammys and 4 Oscars between her and her brother, She's only 22. Big fan. Check out Bury A Friend, See Me in A Crown, Chihiro, or NDA for heavier. She has rock songs, alternative, 'Billie" songs, ballads. very creative and musical duo. but its her voice over it all for me.
