It doesn’t lag but when I press W on my keyboard it moves a second later. I’m on windows 11 but idk what fps to put it on I put it on 30 and 160 and it still does that same thing

my fortnite doesn't allow me to play without the directx 12 shaders enabled, but when i have them enabled my loading screen always gets stuck on "preparing shaders" for like 10 mins. any solutions?
@@BayconAddict try lowering your frame rate, and set shader quality to low
@@OGMily Do I do that with directx 12 shaders enabled? Cuz Fortnite won’t even let me launch the game when I have them disabled

Disable cosmetic streaming is not one of the options on mine & it won’t let me launch unless I check install direct x 12 shaders.
@@televisiondevil5235 makes sense if your system runs direct x 12 , also the cosmetic streaming was renamed to “pre download cosmetic assets ” or something along those lines

@@televisiondevil5235 make sure your storage isn’t full and check how many Hz the laptop is then make sure you fps is correctly set based on that. If you let me know the Hz I can help guide you based on that!

So when I do installation option it doesn't show up the disable cosmetic streaming option for some reason do you know how to fix this
@@TRENCHYTHEMAN they just renamed it to pre instal cosmetic assets or something like that, check that off you want them pre downloaded.

yes they randomly changed the name, simply check that , you want assets pre downloaded
this actually helped me but still sometimes it freezes then gets back
