Those lag switches have been going on for a couple of seasons now and from what I've experience its more prominent the past seasons than bo6 but in the case of RP I wouldn't be surprised since there is a lot of hackers/cheaters in there. And even if the squad with those cheats can make you lag engaged or not on a fire fight as long you are near to them in the map.

Cheats have gotten so advanced that you don't even need to be on pc to cheat anymore. Turning cross play off will not keep you safe from cheaters. The best bet to deal with them is the community as a whole needs to get so fed up that they just don't tolerate them and refuse to even be friends with them. This is how it used to be w/o anti-cheat and people cheated less then vs now.

Cheating was in casual before ranked dropped and it was bad. They shouldn't have released ranked to begin with.

I'm officially done with cod. Ive uninstalled the game and honestly. I will not be playing another one ever again. Nor will i be reinstalling any of them. Maybe og BO1 and BO2, but no. I wont be playing cod anymore. In the same way i will never play any new halo. It has been killed. These games are dead to me. Ill wait for clones, but even then. This has left such a bad taste in my mouth with the gaming industry that ive given up on ever enjoying these games again.
