i really just upload clips and compilations for whatever i'm currently fixated on. right now, that's the simpsons, though most of my visible channel uploads are from osomatsu-san.

Burns Watches Homer's Rally (The Simpsons)
Video description: Homer Simpson holds a megaphone and commences a speech, saying "thank you. Unlike most of you, I am not a nut. Just a good, honest American who opposes wrongdoing, and especially carelessness, wherever they occur."
As he speaks, the shot zooms out to reveal Monty Burns and Waylon Smithers, watching him from the former's office. Mr. Burns goes "hmmm...look at that man. He has the crowd in the palm of his hand. Hm...haven't seen anything like it since Jolson. Who is he?"
The shot cuts to Smithers--Black this episode--who puts down the binoculars he was previously using to watch Homer. He answers "that's Homer Simpson, sir. He used to work here in the plant, but he was fired...

source: "mountain of madness" (season 8, episode 12) always loved how annoyed smithers is the whole episode. as much as i love him, it's very amusing to me when someone's getting under his skin. that aside, i think he should've gotten a bit more assertive. i think it would've been perfectly fine if he just straight-up threatened to abandon them in the woods if they didn't stop slowing him down....

I just noticed how much their bond as brothers grew throughout the seasons, so much so that Ichimatsu referred to him as 'precious little brother'. This anime is so wholesome and sweet!
