Hello; what is exactly the different part or change that you are seeing? I see that is exactly as JKA is doing since Nakayama Sensei videos. You see those shifting with Ogura Sensei here the same with Enoeda; Osaka and Imura Sensei... By the way; I understand your point about useless changes in Kata but again, I do not see any differences in the JKA norm regarding JITTE
@@TheReverb1 E.g. 2.36 minutes it is now kaki uke (once was Haito uchi/uke). While it's no big deal, on JKA courses that I have attended in my 50 plus years training, the phrase 'the kata never change' is common. You will find similar tinkering in Gankaku & so forth. TBH I am finding JKS closer to the Nakayama versions of kata.
@@BelloBudo007 I never heard about Kaki uke I know kakiwake uke but that is other technique. I have never seen this change from haito uchi to kake on the 4th movement either. I'm pretty sure it is listed as haito uchi even in Nakayama sensei book best karate series.
Well i was wrong. I got out my Best karate book and sure enough the 4th move it listed as kake uke not haito uchi. I swear this feels like a mandela effect. I have been practicing this kata for over 20 years and to my knowledge it has always been haito uchi.

Actually, that is a good point. Many people fail to control their forward moving knee & end-up in some odd posture.
Is that François from Canada sitting right there?
Very good tips from Ogura Sensei. I like his emphasis on big, bold moves and 100% completing everything.
The young man was humble.

I always attend Ogura-sensei's class on every Thursday. It's very fun! I actually learned Meikyo today.
