@memphysmoto2649 so far arrma has been replacing anything I've destroyed like axle dog bone ends and diff they are replacing.. they arrive tmr for mojave blew that one too

@memphysmoto2649 didn't post a vid, bot it but my screws sheared off from the all metal diffs..even the square notches in there sheared off.switched to a 60amp esc and 3s foams diff the rest..

@@RCRICHIE I had a kingval system 3s 6100kv 2.3mm shaft, I was able to get 52mph with stock spur and 24t pinion. Now I’m running a Castle System Micro X2 and 1010 motor 5400kv 3.175mm shaft on 3s with 28t pinion, I just hit 71mph. Next step for me is 32t pinion 👍

@memphysmoto2649 man that's crazy fast! Where are u finding those pinions? Are they the same mod .5?

Make sure all connections are in tact servo is working so check motor

@@Nobz619 cheapest way is replacing hexes to mojave grom..$11 or if u want all metal from arrma..30 or other brands

30mm foams depending on truing will rub,i have gorilla tape underneath to protect. 26mm will fit all day no issues..harder the better I think(shore)

I see when people use weights, might need to try that..i think my set up can hit 55+ on 3s if I can get esc to cooperate but may need go down on kv with another motor I think 5400 may be too high for 3s with my esc

@@RCRICHIE I got 50mph with the Kingval kit, it was fine, it just got really hot between runs.👍 but the weights do work

Tried them in grass no dirt and they are grippy but will still give out if u punch it!

I will try turning down steering rate but def agree with foams she runs the best!

@memphysmoto2649 yea I had 6100 as well for mojave but 2mm shaft snapped on 3s. But I got 47 out if it.

They are surpass hobby fans,u can find them on ebay and Amazon. U can run as many as u want u just need servo splitter wires.i don't regularly take temps,but with that fan 25mm or 30mm u will be good. But the 25mm only fits in stock shroud.

Yeah wasn’t sure if the esc could handle running two fans on a y cable but kept my stock motor and was thinking using this fan heat sink combo with the original stock fan as well, been running the stock battery for long oval races with my son he is not ready yet for the brushless like you have a nice setup going. We are planning on running two cars one stock onroad and one stock oval.

Yes I have a hotracing 59 spur. Didn't take temp reading bit with upgraded 25mm fan,temps went down drastically. 57 spur is available but I would only use if 21 or higher pinion

@scottbrodie3071 gotta say this motor is pretty good.def notice these 380 motors run hot.so if keeping I would upgrade the fan.never had it on a track but she is pretty quick.also put something in diffs,more predictable

I was thinking the 21 pinion would be great at a super speed way oval track versus the stock 19 which would be great for the short tracks or road course tracks. I haven’t ran mine without a heat sink on the motor but have noticed the motor is usually 10 degrees cooler than the heat sink. You mentioned the diffs, from what I been researching on that is that would require possibly different front cvds because the cup on the diff are different than the stock. Still researching that.

@scottbrodie3071 if staying stock I say no need on upgrading diffs,v2 are pretty strong held up pretty good bashing so u won't be putting that much stress on it.but if u do want 12mm hexes for more wheel and tire options, u will have to upgrade to stock mojave axles..hope that helps u out

Upgraded diffs fit stock axles and cups just fine.

Yeah I only have the LOSI nascar so I’m not familiar with the Grom and Mojave and other arrma models. On the diff I see one for mid 20 and one for 45 on price the 45 being all metal cups and gears. So if upgrading to 12 mm hex then that requires different axels does it require the upgrade diff to? I really like the car stock as is bummer I can’t hook up a sound effects unit with the 2n1 stock esc receiver. To do so requires a y cable and a cable coming off the esc which the stock doesn’t have and I have been searching for a spektrum esc compatible but nothing yet.

@@spenzalii mine are old as well so they are pretty low already. If not u may have to trim body a lil

26mm should fine 30mm u may have to trim and true!
