@@jayboy6895 thanks man! Having the pickguard built by Tyler Guitars has been life changing. This has become my main guitar. It is so versatile! Adding the Eventide H90 to the signal chain really filled out the sound for these kinds of tones. And the Soldano X-88IR is just incredible. I have never been happier with my overall tones. Still working on it all but happier than ever!!

I am not really familiar with that unit... I am sure you could get close...? Effects wise the Clean sound signal chain is: a compressor, EQ into my own re-creation of a Tri-Stereo Chorus I made in the Quad Cortex using three independent choruses mixed across the stereo spectrum then into two mono Detune blocks panned Left and Right (-9 and +9) and then into two mono delays panned left and right then into a circular delay. The Lead tone is the "Tri-Stereo Chorus" into the circular delay. I don't use any Reverb in any of my presets, The delays mixed together create reverb on their own.

Thanks! Yeah, not the tone I normally go for but I figured it was appropriate for that era of Lukather. I swapped out the humbuckers in my main two guitars a couple of months back. I had Suhr install the Thornbucker 2 in both, which has a great midrange that’s smooth but cutting. And I set the Koko Boost on this clip for an even bigger, focused mid bump. So It has that 80s rock tone.

Thanks, the captures are the Custom 3SE 3 for crunch and Custom 3SE 8 for leads also the VHD PA-2502 6 for power amp emulation. They are all in the QC from the factory. I run a simulated W/D/W setup preset with completely separate left and right signal paths. So as close to Lukathers CAE 3+SE and VHT Classic as I could get. I used to own those amps as well and these captures are identical. The IR I am using is a Celestion EVH with a 57, I use it for everything. The secret ingredient is the pickup I am using. It is the EMG 58 which is the pickup Lukather has in the Blue Valley Arts Robot guitar. That pickup sounds Incredible. Also my Suhr S guitars are all Mahogany bodies, the sunburst has a maple top, with maple necks and rosewood fretboards. I love mahogany for strats it is also what Lukathers Blue VA guitar was made from.

Thanks so much for your kind words, I truly appreciate it! This was my Suhr PT-100 through its matching 2x12 cabinet with a Line 6 Helix in 4 cable method for delay and reverb. I have since replaced the Helix with the Quad Cortex. I was warming up before a gig a while back and my singer recorded me without telling me… lol. So I figured I’d share it with a current gear overviews.
