GOD Bless You my little sister. I m from India 54 YRS old. Single. Just had retina detachment repair procedure called Barrage Laser and my left eye had a macilar scar on retina and therefore it has poor vision and just one week had a 4:03 4:04 cataract surgery. But my left vision is por vision. I am feeling ashamed that I cry for my poor vision but here you Re who. Lost your vision die to lack of proper treatment and perhaps financial issues. Sorry apologies I wish I can होप you. I m retired person from India. God Protect You. God Grace you with some good eye treatment in future.. I hope you get my Message.
u are the strongest 💪
Are you still on RUclips?
How did you post in the comments if you’re blind 🤔
Screen readers and other technology usually.
A retinal detachment operation thst failed is rare. that’s unfortunate. you must have left it very late to seek treatment
Any cob web, sudden change in vision, new sudden floaters, flashing lights in vision, dark curtains in the vision take yourself straight to the opticians it can honestly save your sight ♥️
They will be able to cure blindness in the coming decades. Until then stay healthy and positive and keep on living your life. Bless you
May I ask. How do feel when you lose your eye visions And how long is it takes you to cope with it? I would be very scary🥺
:((( IM scared I dont wanna loose my vision
Hi @Blind Filipina I hope your doing ok. ❤❤❤❤ Also maybe in the future coming back to RUclips, maybe an update on how you are, if you don’t want to do that, that’s completely understandable. I do really hope your doing well. Sending lots of love and positive vibes this night. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So, your surgery was not successful? What happened?
ur so strong po. I'm going through PVD and I already feel very depressed
Ur beautiful for a blind woman. Do you have a boyfriend?
Hi,, long time don't make video again. I'm blind woman too. I like your videos very much. Trying to be a blind youtuber.
kumusta na po paningin nyo ngayon? bumalik po ba after treatment?
Waiting for vedios plz
The way u r doing it doesn't seem u r blind
Hi, how are you today
dang i feel sad you have these problems in life.. really unfortunate :/ I have retinal issue in my one eye but it evolved from previous trauma not from bad vision from birth or something.. I had one operation with a long recovery. And now im having problems again and i think i rather lose vision in that eye than go through another operation and recovery, and i stumble upon this video and feel bad cause you couldn't get the treatments I can and im just choosing not to
Did u end up getting the surgery?? I haven’t had it yet but really don’t want to do it!!!
@@sophiesnooks I had it checked and it seems like my retina is thin in one place but the doctor said It's not a major issue since I could live my whole life without it tearing or it could tear, so I just have to notice things on time. Anyways my eye is all scared from stiches and lasers so I get paranoid that my retina detached lol, now I just have to check the eye once every 6 months. Other than that it's all good I guess
@@ed00r How is your vision on the eye which had thin retina? I have the same problem in one of my eye due to trauma
@@sauravsingh5096 well, I have a lot of scars from glass, and from laser that I got after surgery. I have a small black spot like a curtain after the retina detachet. So in general my vision blurry, misty, somewhat looking throught a plastic film. I can see a little better if i close the eye a little. My vision is like 0,4 in that eye
@@sauravsingh5096 what kind of an injury did you have, forgot to ask?
I can relate to your experiences since I also became blind due to retinal detachment. Have you experienced seeing floaters? Those were the last things that I saw before everything went dark.
No, I didn't see floaters. Although, whenever I would look at a bright light, a black curtain like thing would appear and block my view. How long have you been blind? If you don't mind me asking.
@@blindfilipina I became totally blind in 2000. I was 16 but it started when I was younger.
@@ninsvidena837 your first sign was eye floaters so how much time it took ?
@@Skinbodycarestyle took me few years.
@@ninsvidena837 can you be precise ? Because I also have eye fosters.

Hello! I bought it in Resources for the Blind Institute, which is based here in Metro Manila, Philippines.
Hello po, I am a visually Impaured too Sana po gawa kayo ng video sa journey niyo going blind 😊 young acceptance po.
Hello! welcome to my channel. Yes, thank you sa suggestion. Nasa list ko na sya ng gustong gawin, medyo mahabang kwento sya sa tingin ko. Pero try ko sya gawin soon. Hopefully it could help you or other visually impaired sa journey na to.💛💛💛

Great video, really made me laugh. You seemed so excited opening your box, it reminded me of Christmas as a kid. The excitement and anticipation. It seemed as if you could hardly contain your excitement..😊.. I always look forward to your videos. They make my day with your positivity and happiness..!!! Keep up the great things you are accomplishing and those yet to come..!!!!👍
did you ever do a video on how to use an Android phone because I'm on Android and I'm only using the TTS part of it not stuff it looks like voice over I'm visually impaired blind and my right eye and no I can see some out of my left it's a blur in a lot of cases I use speech-to-text and text-to-speech but little elf
I haven't done a video about how to use an android phone, but I can certainly do that in the future. I use both android and iphone but I use the android more because my iphone is a bit broken, like sometimes it presses on its own. LOL. Also, I use my android phone to record myself so I would need to find another device that could do the recording if I decide to make a video about how to use an android phone. You can search for talkback, that's the screen reader for android.
so I found you on Facebook in a blind and visually impaired support group that I am a member of I think we have maybe spoken before on there . I tried to sign up for Hadley's introduction course in Braille but I'm having serious issues getting the sign up to work properly I will probably contact you on Facebook or contact underneath the link to this video on Facebook because my TTS Jesus RUclips comments and RUclips notifications . I did not mean Jesus but what it was supposed to say is my TTS hates RUclips comments and notifications
Hello! Sure, if there's anything I can help you with, just let me know. You can message me to any of my contact information that you have. 😇
Aww wow just wow thank you so much for sharing this video and sharing your thoughts about our and so many others condition. I was a loner most of my adult life and I too would go on long walks or hikes through the woods. I absolutely loved nature all animals as well especially Birds Felines and canines. I have a pair of Timberlands original colour, black and white Adidas and red black Adidas that are low cops, I always wear jeans but wear jogging pants inside my apartment, I love hockey soccer basketball and baseball, I have and white England, yellow and royal blue Sweden, white shirt with black red and yellow Germany, black shirt with very thin white lines like a barcode going up and down on it Germany, a black and dark yellow Germany looks like a bumblebee, a blue white and black Chelsea, and Ireland with white and green stripes going around the shirt soccer jerseys they are all mixed Nike and Adidas, also have a Toronto Maple Leafs John Tavares jersey and a Toronto Blue Jays Jersey that is the red one for Canada's day the Toronto Blue Jays jerseys are blue and white. I also have a leather motorcycle vest with angel wings on the back it is the original leather motorcycle vest that Daryl Dixon wears from The Walking Dead. I have other nice things as well but all of those are my pride and possessions and I do my best to look good as well. I wear jewellery but not at the moment but if I was I would wear earrings necklaces and always wanted to get my eyebrow pierced. I agree with you miss as well but unfortunately when it comes to my parents I do not miss their faces however I do miss their voices. I am going to really love this channel hahaha.
I imagine it’s easier since you were not born blind you have a general concept of their look. But to someone who has never had sight it would be very hard to truly imagine the look. I think it would be amazing if somehow how a blind person pictured an emoji in their mind could be projected for others to see. Obviously the concept of the emoji is understood, but I imagine how you visualize it looks different. Just imagine if you had never seen colors how could it be described as there is no reference to begin from. Are brains are amazing, life is amazing… thanks so much I really enjoy your content, keep it coming and thank you for sharing your journey with all of us..!!!!!!!😊
A friend told me that he has a blind friend who think of color as numbers. For example when she hears the word pink, she thinks of the number 4. Our brain is truly amazing.
I was able to see for 28 years of my life and I have been blind now for almost 5 years and you describe this perfectly. Also wanted to add I don't know if you are living in the Philippines but your English is very good.
Thank you!💛 yes, I live in the Philippines. What's the cause of your blindness?
@@blindfilipina sorry accidentally sent the other one LOL... so like I was saying I woke up could not see and feeling really really sick and knew I was going to die and basically contemplated with God whether or not I wanted to live seeing how I had no friends no family and I was a nomad loner living in the woods. Decided I did not want to die so considering everything I packed a duffel bag and threw it over my shoulder. I then began to crawl like a soldier out of the woods and luckily for me I knew the area and was able to find a bench where I was able to get up on and lay down on it. I could hear people riding and jogging by on the bike path and I would call out to them but I was just a homeless person on a bench and I was ignored. This was extremely early in the morning and the sun had not come out but while laying on this bench for almost 2 and 1/2 to 3 hours eventually the sun rose from the East and it warmed me up and I was able to walk to the entrance of the valley but then again needed to crawl up the hill to get out. Made it to an off-duty bus driver and he drove me to the hospital where I received blood transfusions and was diagnosed with pneumonia and from that day on I have been visually impaired and it has just gotten worse to be honest. My rare blood disorder that is called pnh was diagnosed three years ago and by the looks of it doctors can tell that I have had it for at least 14 years and average person who has P&H only lives for up to roughly 10 years. I can't die I won't die I refuse to die and I am here to serve the world my friend.
@@mikesscarn6592 I'm sorry to hear that you had to go through that ordeal. I can tell that you are in a really good place now. It's amazing how you fought for your life and didn't give up even though the situation seemed hopeless. Truly God blessed you with strength.
Yes I do use it as well sometimes but if I am speaking with another blind person sometimes I don't bother and I will just described and create my own Emoji or symbol.
Who's sending those hearts though? 🤔😅
Same case po here.
Talaga, Retinal Detachment rin?

Wow, you were born blind in one eye and bad vision in the other, but you still excelled enough in your language skills to work in a call center..!!! Excellent inspirational story, thanks for sharing your journey 😊
Thank you.💛 It used to surprise my doctors that companies would hire me despite having poor eye condition. As for the language, I'm just lucky I was able to study and learn it in school.😇
@@blindfilipina you may have been lucky getting to go to school depending on your life, but succeeding in school that’s not luck, that’s determination and desire. Both of which you seem to have plenty of…😊
@@jameslyn2507 thank you. 😇
Good to see you back,,
Thanks for sharing your story. Did you have good eyesight before this started?
left eye is blind since birth. Right eye wasn't really good. I was near sighted and used to recognize people from a distance based on their built and clothes, however it was good enough for me to become independent.

What was the time span between the initial headaches you mentioned at the start of the video and the diagnosis you got at the hospital?
I had headaches for about a year before I was diagnosed. I kept ignoring the headaches, and when my doctor detected the problem, he said that my retinal tear was already large that it had to be reattached asap.
Awesome! Useful content that answers questions people will always have from firsthand experience. Keep it up.
Good bless you Arianne I’ll include you to my rosary tonight
Thank you! God Bless. 💛🕊✨
Our brains are amazing. I lived in Japan for many years and after a few years I would sometimes dream in Japanese. What was amazing is I was much more fluent in my dreams. If I could remember sometimes I would google words I used in my dream and they would be correct for the context used. Our brains are truly amazing on what they can do. Thanks for the interesting information. I look forward to more interesting tidbits to come. Keep positive and good luck on your continuing journey of life….!!!
Thank you for the awesome comment. You're right, our brains are truly amazing. And what you said about your dreams is quite interesting too - specially Japanese is a very difficult language to learn. It's interesting that your brain knows how to be very fluent in Japanese, but it doesn't allow you to access the information to be as fluent in your waking life.
@@blindfilipina well I lived in Japan for 8-9 years so I was exposed to the language both written and spoken everyday. I could speak Japanese pretty well, but like I said my vocabulary did improve in my dreams, lol, and yes it’s very hard in some aspects, but phonetically it’s simpler than English. I imagine braille since it’s by touch. A lot of signs in the US are in braille and I tried feeling them, wow, very hard.. must take a lot of patience
you are so pretty
Wow, thanks for the update. I was curious what happened to you. Good luck with your studies and life. You no doubt have already succeeded because of your positive attitude and outlook on life…. always remember, “stars cannot shine without darkness”, I know your star will shine brightly always…!!
Thank you so much for this super amazing comment. I'm lucky to have someone like you on my channel.💛💛💛
Patience really is a virtue. Thanks for giving us a new video.
It is.😇 Thank you for the support. 💛

The Philippines is a really beautiful country. Even though we don't have a lot of accessibility services, we have amazing people who would be happy to help you around.
