Tompall & The Glaser Brothers are three siblings Tompall, Chuck and Jim. The Glaser Brothers were Outlaws within Country Music. Their music was outside the mainstream as their sound moved away from The Nashville Sound blending rock and folk rhythms with country instrumentation. Their music and songwriting helped expand the horizons of country music at a time when it had reached the limit of its original, conservative impulses. Among their successes on the US Country charts were ‘Rings’, ‘Gone, On The Other Hand’, ‘Faded Love’, ‘Lovin’ Her Was Easier, ‘Sweet City Woman’, and ‘It’ll Be Her’. Jim had US country hits with ‘The Man In The Mirror’, ‘When You’re Not A Lady’, ‘If I Could Dance With You’ and ‘You’re Gettin’ To Me Again’, # 1 US Country song. Tompall’s songs “T for Texas” and “Put Another Log on the Fire” were on the first million sellling country album ‘Wanted:The Outlaws’. Chuck’s songs “Music Ain’t a Bad Life” and “All Alone With The Blues” were used in hit television shows.
