I own a pair of 60mm (grain) camel leather tabis, the leather feels tougher than lamb and calf leather pairs that i have seen and felt, but they came with some small "scuffs" in the leather which isnt bad as it feel like it came from an animal and not like some cheap shien or temu leather with several layers of plastic, but the leather might be to tough for a 30mm pair as the break in period for the camel leather is longer than the lamb or calf skin pairs( it took me like 2 months for the leather to start stacking on my 60mm pair so if i had to geuss it would take maybe 3 months for it to properly stalk and mold onto your feet on the 30mm pair (i wear then about 2-3 times a week)).Over all camel is better for longevity but with a longer and tougher break-in-period. I love the tatlin coat it's one of the best coats that rick has made IMO. I think the tower of Babel and the Tatlin tower, signify a utopian vision that wasn't able to be reached, an aspiration that wasn't able to materialize. I think this plays into ricks themes in his modern collections about the cyclical nature of society's dichotomy between human aspiration for a better society and the inability for that to be realized. Bitter sweet message, it seems like rick wants to comment on his aspiration for a better society without negating the 'reality' of failures of past attempts. I know he's just selling fancy clothing but IMO there is a larger underlying theme.
