At 2:15: Adjusting dual button height. THAT DID IT!!! I did not know how to adjust the height of those buttons. The caps were not flush inside its housing. Looked horrible. Almost wouldn't flush toilet. I adjusted them. Perfectly flush now. You saved us lots of money and time. Very much appreciated. We love you.

My new valve/toilet is leaking from the bottom seal, is there any way to adjust the height of the lower seal?

How do you know if flushing/pushing rod is too high or too low if working with a ceramic toilet where one cannot see the rods when closed? Can this be used in the UK?

Agree thus video only shows its fitting and operation not how the hydraulic action comes into play as the float lever comes up. I was interested in Siamp unit I had fitted. Common failure are the perishing of the seals. The Siamp type does not seem to be adjustable in height but other types can be. If you want seals check Amazon for"Seals for bottom entry cistern valves". I had to remove toilet to gain access so for me considered best to replace it all because of work required.
