Description
I wouldve been waving a panzerfaust at the side of the road
Cool
Always regatrded this as one of the most elegant cabs in any truck. The Roadtrain has its charms but this class of Bedford has a 'look of its own.
Now All you need is a new shiny helmet and a pair of kinky boots)
That is so cool billy
...
Awesome, just got a Tamiya model of this rig, cant wait to build! TFS, GB :)
Hi Graeme, It would be nice to see a pic of the rig when you've completed the kit.
a large number of this got destroyed during the Battle of Malaya, 1942
Great to see and hear it still doing what an "under-powered" but, "properly geared" truck of the time was designed to do on active service.
Thanks !
25 pounder... not familiar with that, is that a 105mm howitzer?
25pouner field gun. The longest serving field artillery gun ever.
Great artillery piece.. was a gunner on this, the 105 and the 120 mortar back in the 90s.
Cracking truck
Not a Quad. CMP Gun tractor.
Oh dear. Someone learned his "knowledge" of these things from some net "expert".
Its a Morris not a CMP.
Not a Quad but a Morris Artillery Tractor which we used early in the war
Other way round.
Both wrong....please research properly with real military records or actual users in WW2 ....Morris with late model body.
Panser Saracen + Saladin + Ferret di negara RI masih banyak.
That's a very tidy example Billy!, Maybe an engine service is due,..... -yourbsuspension is squeaking too, needs lubricating with OIL, NOT GREASE,....
love the sound of the engine
The replacement to the USA Hummer looks a lot like that truck
Excellent for driving in crowded cities where some drivers like to ignore traffic signals, stop signs or give way signs!
Me and the boys on our way to drive through someone's garden and kick their door in at midnight
Sing up the ra!
Let's hopebthey do not have a Centurion in their back yard
My Dad was a Gunner/Quad Driver in WW2, 6 years in the army and went over to Normandy on D2, ended up only one of a few that returned in his unit but got to Bergen Belsen. I have his service record and pictures of the Quad, limber and 25lb gun. I also have a fired Brass shell he fired. They were brave guys in those days.
Wow, lovely condition. A restoration very well done. This was always my favorite ground vehicle of WW II outside of Tanks. I made many a Morris Quad model kits as a boy and it's just as good now as I thought it was in the 60's. I'm very happy a couple of these are still around.
I have a mk2 Humber pig
Looks good Billy, was nice talking to you about it today
This quad used to belong to me, i restored it in the late 90’s.
And its still going strong Peter.
So you know that it isn't a Quad then.
@@gunner678 So what makes it not a quad ?
Good to see the 8th Armoured Brigade Fox on the Sherman....shame it wasn't 994 underneath though !. Most impressive convoy..brill !
Very impressive a definite big boys toy I need to start saving
