A lot of the graphics you see in these games (such as the gem stacks here) are nothing more than "perceived progression" - meaning that it may look like a bonus is going to hit immediately with the larger gem size, but that's not always the case. It's always random. Traditionally higher bet sizes do offer bigger returns, but at a greater risk. The most important thing is to establish a hard budget of what you're willing to lose on your Vegas trip and try to maximize that budget for the duration of your trip. It's not always easy but if you don't stick to this then you'll end up losing a lot more money. Ask me how I know! Good luck!

I’m really sorry to hear that. If it’s strictly from gambling then definitely take a break and do something else for a while (or indefinitely). This form of entertainment is definitely not worth it if it makes you feel like you’re failing at life. Things will turn around soon.

You definitely have to set boundaries and only gamble what you can afford to lose. Regardless, losing is never fun but that’s part of the game.
