Great exercise! I would love to see a lesson on apoyando technique regarding only de right hand/fingers/joint movements.I also noticed that you use a lot of your right shoulder to go from the 6th to 1st string. Can develop more about that? Thanks and all the best to the new channel.
👏👏
Hello everyone and welcome to our new video! In this one, you will learn a bit more about Belmin and about our program. The background music is Fernando Sor's Fantaisie Op. 54 for two guitars and it's actually us playing. Check it out here: ruclips.net/video/uaHQBMeedtY/видео.html
Very interesting. Thanks. Do you think they're more effective than Carlevaro's arpeggios?
Thank you! Carlevaro is excellent as well! I've practiced his exercises a lot and still return to them from time to time. One crucial aspect of Carlevaro's exercises is proper execution, especially with the right-hand thumb, which needs to prepare the next note while muting the previous one. I might make a video about Carlevaro's exercises in the future, but it's not in my plans for the next few videos. Thanks for your interest!
Why is this video 20 fps?
Thanks for pointing that out! It was an unintended mistake-I'll make sure to fix it in future uploads!
@@TheArtofClassicalGuitar It's ok now. Thank you!
Thanks for training tips and you have inspired me to include the exercises in my practice …keep giving the classical guitar lessons…
Thank you so much! I'm glad the tips were helpful, and it’s great to hear you’re incorporating the exercises into your practice. We’ll definitely keep sharing more classical guitar lessons-stay tuned, and happy practicing!
Bravo miki 👏👏

Hi, das ist super. Vielen Dank! Ich antworte aber ausführlich auf dem delcamp Forum... Viele Grüße Andreas
Hi Andreas! Freue mich dass es Dir gefällt!
Great video. Quality and equality of your sound are incredible. I'm going to rework my tremolo first thing in the morning ! thanks
Thank you for your kind words and thanks for watching! Have fun practicing! 😁
👏👏
I have been doing this and the other arpeggio exercise that you posted on Delcamp and I think they're great. My hands are small, so the first six notes of the scale (where you span wide) are a tad difficult, but not impossible. I find that if I use the pads of my fingers, rather than the tips, I can reach farther.
Thank you for your feedback! It’s great to hear you’re finding the exercises helpful. It's fantastic that you’ve adapted and found a solution that works well for your hands-that’s exactly the right approach! We’ll be posting more technical exercises in the coming days, so stay tuned!
What is the principle dictating the rest position (or non-rest position) of the right thumb? Is there a book of such principles I can buy so I don't have to hunt for these things through the literature?
Hi there! Thanks for your comment! That’s a great question. I don’t really know if there is a book talking about this particular subject. 🧐 I always did what made me the most comfortable (as you saw in the video, thumb on the 6th and then on the 5th string).
Very interesting master class. These quick, short passages seem so difficult to me, but your approach gives me the keys to succeeding. I still remember your superb performance of Villa Lobos's Etude 4 at the Paris Festival a few years ago... perhaps a lesson in the future. Thank you.
Thank you so much! Feel free to reach out anytime!
So instead of the rolling pimamip (my mind thinks Giuliani Op.5 No. 48), this is two a's in a row. pima amip
