just a heads up as a game designer. Unity and UE4 are different engines, unity has been in trouble like you stated so they are considering UE4 to replace unity.

Its going to be on pc regardless, to make this type of game for console is just so much more effort for the little amount of people that would play this on console.

So... how do we file a class action? Cause, these companies, not just the video games one, have been having issues keeping our data safe; yet want us to use their services. Capital One is an example, they had a data leak back in 2019 and are NOW paying out because of it.

I played Sims Mobile for years. Now I just play Sims 4. I’ve quit every Meta product long ago. Not happy about this.

As someone who preordered LBY twice, I can confirm I received an AUTOMATIC full refund BOTH times I preordered.

People seem to be conflating Paradox interactive (the Publisher) with Paradox Techtonic (the development team for LBY). There is no Paradox gaming company. Paradox Interactive has existed for years and PUBLISHED City Skylines, but Collossal Order is the development team for City skylines. Paradox is basically a publishing team who does so through partnerships with developers. Paradox Techtonic was formed JUST to develop LBY. And much like us were surprised when their Publisher Paradox interactive cancelled the game instead of putting any further money into it and shut down there studio 24 hours later. Big boss basically came in and cleaned hiuse. None of this was wanted by the actual dev team working on the game. the Tectonic team are now all jobless. LBY pre-orders were all refunded after one of the previous delays. You could wishlist it, but not preorder anymore anyway.

I expect the sims 5 to be basically like the mobile sims games.

Knowing ea, they may try to pull a recall on players and make the mandatory that you upload a picture to play the game, also I think that they are forcing inclusivity on the team that is making the game, which means that no one has idea of what they are doing, if its like that we may see a low quality game full of micro transactions. Personally I won't play the game if its not compatible with mods. The sims itself its quite boring.
