      Yes. Maybe I will go into that later. I’m hoping to get the basic idea across without confusing too many. I know it can be frustrating from some to understand modes. But yes that would make a good lesson ❤

    • @GuitarLessonsMadeEasy
      @GuitarLessonsMadeEasy 8 дней назад

      If you move the shape down to the 5th fret you would be in A Major and the you can attach the mode names to each of the diagrams for that key. Your chords for a major will be different than c Major of course so that’s all you will have to figure out.

    Excellent 3nps pattern for the Em Aeolian. Lovely phrasing in this run. Curious: for the pattern starting on the low E string, have you excluded the high e string to resolve the run on the root/tonic of the key? Thanks; really like your presentation style. Subscribed! Hi from PDX, OR.

    • @GuitarLessonsMadeEasy
      @GuitarLessonsMadeEasy 11 дней назад

      Yes, exactly the high e string you can definitely incorporate in this scale to make it a 6 string 3 note per string pattern . Thanks for the comment and kind words ❤️🙏

    HI how does the 14th fret on the low E fit in the Em pentatonic?

    • @GuitarLessonsMadeEasy
      @GuitarLessonsMadeEasy 12 дней назад

      It’s EMinor not pentatonic. So you would be correct if it was pentatonic 5 notes but because it’s natural minor we use all 7

    Wouldn’t it better to learn that this is just a moveable pattern along the fretboard.

    • @GuitarLessonsMadeEasy
      @GuitarLessonsMadeEasy 16 дней назад

      Yes it’s moveable as well to other key correct

    • @MrTelekes
      @MrTelekes 16 дней назад

      @@GuitarLessonsMadeEasy I think for some people assigning a key to the pattern gets confusing instead of learning the 5 patterns or the 7 pattern approach and focusing on were the root is and by moving the pattern.changes the key.

    • @GuitarLessonsMadeEasy
      @GuitarLessonsMadeEasy 16 дней назад

      @@MrTelekes I focus on this key for building the shapes and expanding basic guitar fretboard theory because it’s easier to follow with just the natural notes. Music theory is and always will be looked at with many different perspectives and I see yours as well. This is just the way I like to teach it.

    • @MrTelekes
      @MrTelekes 16 дней назад

      @@GuitarLessonsMadeEasy I understand your point, but a lot people have trouble understanding that all these patterns are just movable, it not rocket science. How many people know if you move it up the fretboard 2 frets same shape but now in the key of D. But rock on .
