We had a last minute trip to the beach and I found the opportunity to surprise her at the beach just an hour before going back home. She thought I was just filming a cinematic beach video because that was the excuse. It turned out perfectly. #engaged #proposal

Beautiful truck. What size tires did you put on it? If you can give me the type with size? And what did you do to level your truck? I’m trying to do the same exact thing to mine.
What wheels are those
One place where Ford screwed up big time was in putting passenger grab handles at the front and not on the top as with every non Ford pickup. No way to add a clothes bar to the cab for travel. Had I realized this common Ford defect I probably would have bought a Ram 1500 in 2022.
I use a short antenna so I can leave it attached when putting a car cover over the hood and cab of the truck but it limits the reception considerably for FM stations despite the reviews on Amazon.

Number 1 … I’m number 0ne. Number 2.. lose the crocs. Number 3.. throw a bangin system in there, preferably 2 down firing shallow 12s. Number 4.. tint the front windows to match the rear. Number 5.. livernois tuner. Number 6.. cold air intake. Number 7… intercooler. That’s all I can afford right now.
The best I got with my power boost was 32.9mpg. That truck is phenomenal piece of ingenuity.

I have the same truck. Same color, upgraded to those rims and leveled on 33's, tints, and almost all the same upgrades.
Is that a 2” level?

Again, I absolutely love truck. However, this is something that does bother me along with a few minor other things but at the end of the day I wouldn’t want any other truck and this is to not bash Ford. It’s just to share my experience that someone else may also be experiencing.

@@Trevormaffetone I bought a used 1996 Ford f150 in 2000. I put 330k miles on it until the transmission failed. Too expensive for me at the time to replace. I loved that truck. I bought a new 2014 Ford Focus at a time when the price of gas was high. I had issues with the transmission almost immediately. Kept jerking and stalling in traffic. I had to tow it many different occasions. They did a fix to the program that controlled the trans.. It continued to have problems anyway. They refused to cover the cost to fix it. I put thousands of dollars into it to keep it on the road until 2018 when it was going to cost even more to fix the transmission again. I finally gave up and bought a Chevy Sonic which didn't have problems. I later found out about a law suit settlement against Ford for the transmission. Ford would rather pay out law suits then to fix the actual problem. It's cheaper for them. Look up the history of the Ford Pinto. I will never ever buy another Ford. The company is the worst.
@@danielberg7644 well I hate to hear that you’ve had such a bad experience. However I know people that have had horrible experiences from every single manufacturer. I think a lot of it comes down to if you get a good unit or not and if you do good maintenance. Why did you keep that one until 2018? Should have jumped ship well before then.
@@Trevormaffetone brand loyalty is crippling. Do you know the history of how FORD handled the Ford Pinto explosions? It was cheaper for them company to pay out lawsuits rather then fixing the defect.
You can have a pickup, or a luxury car, can’t have both
How used it your truck? I mean regardless too a lot of cars have this problem. You can honestly grab the same make same model of multiple cars and one of them is bound to have plastic flexing issues. It’s not ford in specific.
A lot of fords have quality issues. While true any car will be bond to have this kind of issue, it just shows how the quality has gone down. My old 2008 Ford truck never had these interior quality issues and it was 11 years old.
@@dlam1 you are free to think as you will but I disagree. My family has bought fords for a long time. Matter of fact, my older brother had just ordered a brand new mustang last year and it is perfect. Though I do agree that there are some fords here and there, like every other brand, that has problems. I’ve just personally never seen ANY car with issues this bad in terms of the interior flex.

First off, the truck is awesome! Very informative video. I have a 2013 F150 that I bought brand new and I’ve also done tons of mods and one of my favorites and you did it too, is the rear wheel well liners….they should come standard on all F150s but it makes everything look so much better once you get those installed.
