Wow good speed
@@eskimoreloader ya 3200 is fast for the cartridge, my guess is that’s about peak pressure. There’s not any visible signs of pressure but still, I’m guessing that’s about peak
Does the serial number on that 700 action begin with "RR?" If so, that is a possible problem. 10 twist is absolutely perfect for that bullet. Do you let that barrel get hot? If so that's a potential issue as well. Nearly 100% of the time when I'm doing initial testing my best groups do not have the best ES and my mediocre groups typically have best ES. I did not hear you mention what your goal is with this rifle and ammo. Thanks for posting. I love 280 Rem. I have one remaining that I had built. Had 2 but the latest one was a right hand (backwards) so I sold it. Now I have three 280AIs and more on the way
@@Accuracy1st the serial number starts with a c6. It’s an earlier model
It's your twist rate, 1.9 or 9.5 twist rate would be better. 1.90 would be optimal for your bullet you could even go to 1.8.5. You are getting excellent groups for the bullet your using. You could try a different bullet in the same weight if your worried about the numbers. I'm thinking about getting a 280 myself. But i would most likely change out the barrel for a faster twist rate and keep bullet selection to 120 to 155 grain. Just my opinion. I'm still a fan of the long action. Good shooting!
@@mwp597 those are good twist rates I agree, but for this rifle I chose a 1:10 intentionally for the 140 gn area, and velocity range
cant wait for your next video
Wow I can reload faster then that with a standard reloader
It’s running at 25% for speed, it’s adjustable per cartridge case requirements. Some run faster some run slower, depends on the brass
its not about the reload its about the case burning you genius
How did the bullet disappear?
Falls down a hole
The case drops to a catch pan to cool 👍🏼
