      What do you think of 100 minus age as time guide?

    • @eiba8322
      @eiba8322 Год назад

      100 - Age: collaps to ecmo flow? Sounds realistic. We are struggling with no flow time if there is no bystanderCPR. We have seen good outcomes after 10-12min no flow if first detected rhythm is VF. Sometimes it is a clinical decision: some patient look dead even if they have no exclusion criteria, some met exclusion criteria but look "still alive".

      @@eiba8322 that’s right 100 minus age to flow target - completely unvalidated but seems like a ball park based on past outcomes

    Love the 'oh boy' at the end....brilliant! Had me in stitches! oh and the drug administration clap - golden, had a giggle there also. Should start using that in my standard management, hehe Great demo guys - The bad scenario videos are like a disaster want to hide from but cant look away.

    No amount of teaching describes how it looks like. Show that, it is a clinical necessity. Don't be a punk because saving lives is not for the faint hearted.

    May I ask, have they ever done Prone CPR simulation based on 2020 Interim CPR Guidelines? Can I request for those doctors and nurses to upload their own simulation videos on how to manage a cardiac arrest Covid-19 patient undergoing Prone Position Ventilation inside the ICU?

  • @andrewrcoggins
    @andrewrcoggins 3 года назад

    At this time masks were optimal. I mean really if pt had covid would this be something we d be doing

      Hi, doctor. What if a prone ventilated cardiac arrest patient needs Prone CPR, which part of the spine would you do compressions based on 2020 Interim AHA CPR Guidelines?
