🙂 Thank you for the comment, I promise to keep it in mint condition 🙂
Hey thanks for this quick video! Does the FD81 have the disk copy feature?
Thanks for the reply, I never used this feature before but I just tired it out. So yes, It sure does. Edit: I tried it multiple time i cant get to work lol, it says disk error most of the time when writing the copy.
Thanks! Getting that file 3D printed asap. I have a ton of stereo slides to digitize
Great hope it works good for you :)
Great video! Thank you.
Thank you I'm glad you liked it :)
Nice. Thanks
You're welcome 😁
I use one LR44, throw it into the battery compartment, without an adapter, compare its meaasurings to my Nikon F100 and they're fine. I've taken my Rollei 35 and 35S to a CLA about two years ago and I don't remember if the guy at the shop adjusted it for newer batteries. Anyway, both meters are working fine
THANK YOUUU
You're welcome
I want one
is that ai animated image of him speaking?
Correct
if its anything, i have a toshiba pdr m4 from 1999 that also changed the quality of images from a top screen, probably a weird leftover relic feature
THANK YOU FOR THIS! My grandpa and great grandpa took hundreds of stereo slides and I couldn't figure out how to scan them in any reasonable quality until now.
What card reader do it requires?
Show the inside!
Just spent a week wondering how to best go about scanning stereo slides and undecided over getting a flatbed, given how old most of them now are...and then I found this! Thank you so much, I think getting a plustek and a few of these printed would be the best option.
How long the batteries last when taking video?
I use another method with my Rollei XF 35, I bought a PX625 that goes perfecly with no adapter, beeing 1.5V I made a lot of testing with an external light meter and I found pretty consistent to put 2 step less the ISO setting, for example with a film 200 ISO I use on camera 50 ISO. The benefit is not only that I don't need adapter but I can use film from 100 to 1600 ISO (Rollei XF 35 goes from 25 to 400 ISO)
Lighting makes it really hard to see the black camera and dark film
What happens if I open the back of the camera before I wind it up? Does it ruin the film?
The film will become exposed which can look cool or can completely ruin the images, sorry
I got a lego one💀
Simple and clear instructions :) Thank you!
Thank you, super clear tutorial! It's really useful to see how long the winding process takes unedited too!
You're welcome I glad you like the video
Fire disposable ❤️
Hey let say i only use half of the film because i wanna change film, i just do the same? And when i wanna load back, do I push it to the let say I use up to 26 exposure so I push it back to 27?
If I understand correctly you want to change the film mid roll, shoot another roll, and put the original roll back in? In theory you could do this. But it's not a very safe operation.... You would need to wind the film back into the canister, shoot the second roll. Use a tool to remove the film leader of the original roll... Load it back in and in a pitch Black room advance the film back to frame 27. You do risk a chance of double exposure around frames 26 and 27 If you fail to load it exactly where you did the first time. It's possible but not recommended
Could i use a flashlight or something to substitute for the cameras flash
At ISO 100 I camera flashlight might not be enough, If you don't mind wasting some film potentially you can always try
Do you sell the actual item made?
You can 3D print the item yourself, there are plenty of online services that will print and mail it to you
@@analogandchill What information do I give to an online service? I'm kind of confused
I think I found the info: Print Settings Printer brand: Creality Printer: Ender 3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: .16mm Infill: 10% Filament brand: Hatchbox Filament color: black Filament material: PLA Notes: I had to position this at 45 degree angle on the build plate of my Ender 3 and chop off the corners to get it to fit.
@@user-nn4ex4ot8h You would give them the stl file and they should be able to do it for you, I took the STL to my local electronic shop they used to offer 3D printing services. There should be some online services that offer prints or if your lucky you might have a place in your town or city that can do the print for you.
@@analogandchill thanks!
Thank you!! :))
You're welcome :)
Oh Man!! Exactly what I was wishing for! Thanks so very much!!
No worries get the preserving those memories

@@analogandchill thank you mate
@@abest6460 no worries :)
Good advice on not forcing the winder!
Gelatin is made from hooves. Used to be solely horse hooves.
This is a misconception, hooves don't contain collagen, which is necessary to produce gelatin. I thought the same thing before I made this, its bones... gelatin comes from bone.
Photography isn't vegan 😢
One day, my friend. One day
R.I.P. to all of the vegans that just found this out
Funny
wtf 8$ for 3? in germany you get 4pics for 4€
It's a vintage one and parts and supplies are rare. Oddly enough it's cheaper than a modern I saw which wanted $15. The Australia tax is real.
The paper they're printed on is rare. It's made in one factory in Russia is the only place that still makes it
If your VCR makes this sound, eject the tape before it's too late!
