If you can get your hands on the leviathan box set, it's failry nice. It incorporates the two combat patrols for nids and Astartes, but also has models to push both armies to the 1k points. One of the best box set releases for a edition launch.

I love the direction Gamesworkshop is going with how easy the models can be to put together. Older Nid models were a nightmare because you would be rolling a minimum of like 40 - 60 gaunts and everything had to be glued. Streamlining the rules and the easier assembly of the battle lines was a hood step in getting new players into the hobby.. they just need to reduce the dang prices some IMO

People who haven’t played this game have no idea: the videos you’re seeing DON’T properly capture the utter terror you feel when you hear the alien in the vents sound - especially if you’re wearing headphones or a surround sound setup.

I played the demo deck a couple of years back and we enjoyed it. The card quality was fantastic. Backed it and wish i hadn't. The card quality took a major hit. Not only that, but after a handful of plays, no one actually wants to play it. Such a shame, i was so excited when i backed it.

Vividly remember the first time I was truly scared of this game was a moment very similar to this, it blended in with the technology so perfectly and seamlessly, until it charged right for me.

Nice.. the detail on the uv prints is crisp. The cave sustem in the top left of thr map is giving off dwarven forge vibes but looks a lot more portable/customisable. Any indication of a price on thr biome packs?

Definitely the vents keep you safe and no alien can get inside the vent matter of fact you can hide in the vents and survive years in the vents 😂

From playing aliens colonial marines, I learned that vents are where you keep your gun pointed haha

Remember, people, the Xenomorph can hear your motion tracker if it's in close proximity to you. In this clip, the Xenomorph likely heard the tracker as it was standing directly above the player. This is why it dropped down and attacked. This is also true while hiding in lockers. The next time you're hiding in one and the Xenomorph is just outside the door, pull out your tracker and watch what happens.

I have finished this game several times, know exactly how this video would play out, and it still made me jump.

The funniest part is im pretty sure at the beginning of the game the xenomorphs cant use the vents so the player establishes them as a safe haven location, only for the aliens to start using them in the middle of the game and scaring the shit out of the players. Its the equivalent of having a magic sword that kills monsters then a monster catches the blade barehanded and all preconcieved notions of safety crumble

Whtf, if you are new to MTG overall get someone to open packs with you, especially because Double Masters 2022 is PACKED with ubervalue cards
