I am gonna disagree with you, I am a producer, songwriter and engineer myself and I think they’re always very innovative and interesting. I don’t think I can find any recent songs by them that sound like another band. Respect though for stating your opinion.

To say this is not innovative at all and rather boring is a horrible take... especially if you yourself produce music. This shit is insane, they always experiment is every new song and stay ahead of the curb. Kinda embarrassing of a take to be honest .
