@@CertifyGames haha I have no issues with this! As with many the lightsabers have always been one of my favorite aspects of Star Wars. And I am slowly finally building the saber collection I’ve always wanted.

With that I would almost be hitting them up to see if that was suppose to be correct cuz I’m pretty sure it should be off their site for one and two only be as low as the lowest option they offer which is that base lit rgb. Very least by asking you wouldn’t have to wonder about it.

@ as far as I can tell, it is just the 16 preinstalled fonts.

@@SubaDrew8 Got my BOGO today! Ordered a SNV4 "Gradient Saber Black-Blue - A05". Free saber was a RGB S16 "E09-A Black-Gold" no SD card slot, no font package ugprade :C

@ you know I was kind of wondering that about that. I didn’t figure the RGB ones could get a font upgrade but at the same time there’s gotta be some way to get sounds on to them so I suppose it could have been possible. But yea they don’t have sd cards far as I know. That E09 is pretty nice looking though. I looked it up on their site.

@@wick3dheathen thank you. And they really really too bad anymore. Depending on the style hilt you want you can get some of them for under $300. Otherwise check out my video on the SNV4. Those boards have a lot of the same abilities for a bit of an easier price. I might also add that although I highly recommend Theory Sabers there is also the option of Xenopixel from other companies that also has pretty much all three effects too which I also have a video on using that in a conversion.

@ oh I already own two snv4 pro sabers from theory 😅 I wouldn’t want to buy from other saber companies I’m kinda sold on his Mantra.

@ haha oh nice ok then yea Proffie is the only option at that point. But they are so worth the bit extra! I got a second one this past week. Have the video for it waiting to post.

@@DiscoPilgrim4903 for sure not too bad. And this is only one of a few options I’m sure. Far as the dimensions go I’ll have to get back to ya with those. It was literally just a premade piece on a shelf at Ace Hardware in the plumbing isle and I just cut it shorter. But the size was damn near perfect for the core and hilt combo.

@ yea pretty much. Between my cars and my hobbies I have walked through my local Ace with some of the weirdest crap ever I’m sure haha.

@@SubaDrew8 I figured you did as soon as I asked what dimensions 🤣 With the random Usaber hilts available, I wouldn't put it past them to not have a standard inner diameter. I'll just take my hilt to HD or Lowes. I also have a spare Xeno3 baselit core I was looking to upgrade my Usaber to so that was perfect that you got one to fit 😎 Thanks for taking the time to show us your DIY!

@ yea I was thinking that too that they may be different. And nice then yea I would just take the US hilt and that core with and just start test fitting. The most fun was asking the guys at the stores if they had ideas for what I could use as well. Really put them to the test.

@ Very nice! And oh yeah, definitely 100%. It won’t completely match the coloring but I would say if you get the black one it will definitely be close enough. And you could technically give it a little bit of a weathered finish as well and it’ll match a little better. That’s actually what I did with mine is I connected that one with the SoulLight but I also got from them and I made it into kind of like a Jedi Survivor style staff.

@@SubaDrew8 ok wow that’s great to know! And being able to combine different hilts Jedi Survivor style like you said opens up a world of creative and fun possibilities. PLEASE consider making a short video demonstrating the very setup you described as I think most people are unaware of it and many -like myself would love to invest in it. Thanks again. @@DiscoPilgrim4903 oh yea you’re definitely not wrong. It is also the oldest and they actually stopped supporting the internals on the Ultrasaber I have so I can’t even change anything about it anymore. Forever stuck on green with no effects. Unless of course I replace everything inside it.

@@SubaDrew8 I bought a single color, 5 font, RGB from them in 2015 for $300. It started messing up (not turning on, fonts were garbly sounding) and they would not honor their warranty at the time(huge hassle/back-and-forth and they kept dragging their feet until warranty time expired) With what we can get now for $300, I feel like an idiot for buying from them 😭 It is also my worst looking/sounding lightsaber to date(when it works lol)

@ yea I totally hear ya there. I like the hilt itself. It’s a very nice one and it was the first one I ever got, but I have never heard anything good about their customer service at all. And yeah for what we can get these days for the same price, it is a little upsetting to think about paying that much for something like that but again for me as many years ago as it was, it is what it is at this point. I’m probably just going to look into swapping out the internals.

First thanks for the sub! Second I’m honestly not sure who’s video or post I found that bit of info on. I just know I did a good bit of searching after getting several new fonts to add to them and not being able to figure out how to get them to actually work after adding them to the card.

Yea definitely wanted to make sure I included the part about the SD card since a good number of videos I watched all said the same thing. And wasn’t too sure about the blade with that. Just figured I know sometimes smaller pinpoint type pressures can be worse than something pushing with a little more surface area. Just figured I’d be careful. These blades are expensive lol.

@@GojiSkywalker unfortunately no. Neither one did. I had to drill and tap them both. You can get a covertec piece from them but I believe it replaces the whole pommel.

@@SubaDrew8 ah dang. Yeah see I really like that saber but it's also one I would've liked to be able to hang on my belt. Unfortunate.

@@GojiSkywalker It is a very nice hilt for sure. It really isn't too hard to drill and tap a hole for one. At least for me I already had a nice tap set from other hobbies.

@@srmarsino6759 yeah they definitely are not bad. I remember back in the day when the battle was always between Ultrasabers and SaberForge Because they were really the only two major companies out there, but now there are so many plastered all over the Internet and you can get so much better for quite a bit cheaper. But they are good for what and when they were. I personally like SaberForge for their ASP line just for the ability to design your own hilt and put it together when you get it all.

@@srmarsino6759 that is what they call their adaptive saber parts line. so basically you can mix and match the different parts to a hilt and adapt them in whatever way you like. Basically it was their way of making it kind of how the Jedi design and build their own light sabers as Younglings. They give everybody that same option so to speak.

These things have become so insanely awesome since I first started collecting some of them as a kid.
