my most used line ...... westbrook to kerby or city hall and then back again
❤❤❤❤I love the song
I love the max orange bus! I love taking it to get to some place to go bottle hunting or I use it to get home since it is so easy for me to get home where I live but damn. I can say taking that bus can be a nightmare! seeing how pack it gets! which it gets pack in the mornings or even in the afternoons since it would either get so pack with The students or be pack with so much Indians since there is just way too many Indians in Canada which makes me feel like I'm not in Canada and even can't even bother. To speak English since Canada is basically an English and French country but I live in the English side of Canada which I just don't feel comfortable to be on the max orange Bus when it gets so pack! even especially how mad my left shoulder is due to having my left shoulder dislocated about two times one happened from trying to climb out. From a hockey wall and the second one slipping on the ice from a pathway which sure is why I do not like going out in the winter times! and that's the ice! which I'm scared Someone could by get my left shoulder dislocated again! but sometimes I would be lucky that it wouldn't get packed and I still would just be able to sit in the back in peace. But sometimes it will get packed with so much Indian new comers! which sure makes it a nightmare to be on that max orange bus to either take it to some place or take it To get home..
35:20 The tunnel layout (mostly the lights) looks identical to the Canada Line's
Looks like either your camera or the front of the train was pretty dirty in this one. If it was the latter, maybe you should have offered to clean it for a discount.
I wonder what my photos would look like displayed on that giant sphere.
1st here as well. Do you re record the original video, make a Timelapse at the same time or take the trip twice?
The same footage is used for the real-time and time-lapse versions of each direction.
@ I kind of came to that conclusion after watching more of your time lapse videos.
First! Also, what's that giant black sphere?
It’s The Sphere, a brand new arena/concert venue, they were almost done building it when I was filming there. The entire outside of The Sphere is a super HD LED display they can display videos on, there’s some pretty wild videos on RUclips of some of the things they’ve shown: a giant eyeball, a yellow emoji face, the moon, the earth, etc.
@ So kind of similar to what China 🇨🇳 has been doing with drones? At first I thought it might be Disney Land but then I remembered that was probably in Las Angeles not Las Vegas.
Does Detroit have any secret stations?
No, but here’s a fun bit of trivia: The Detroit People Mover is going to be getting some of the retired TTC Line 3 SRT trains to overhaul their fleet and extend the service life of the line.
33:57 the tunnel has been extended due to it going under the modern Calgary Public Library
10:16 change here for line 5
RIP Scarborough train!
If the TTC would let you, would you set up a camera on the dashboard of their buses? Maybe turn it into a choose your own adventure sort of thing in the description by providing links at the appropriate parts such as 41 & 89 for Keele Station & a place to jump right to that part of your East & Westbound line 2 videos at the end of the southbound versions of those vids?
Unfortunately, that would be a monumental and expensive undertaking, and not the type of videos I normally create. The TTC only allows filming during off-peak times (so, basically midday only) and each day requires a film permit ($), supervision by TTC personnel ($), film production insurance ($), and my time off my day job to be filming ($). The TTC videos I have created luckily took me only one day to shoot and my costs still came in around $1K.
@ How many Go Train or Via Rail routes have you filmed?
None, so far. The last time I reached out to GO they declined to permit any filming activities, that was about 2 1/2 years ago, though.
@@GrandRiverTravelTransportation Maybe 🤔 you should try again?
Perhaps. At any rate I’m going to wait until the new contractor gets up and running, first. While the switch from Alstom to ONxpress is happening probably wouldn’t be the best time to inquire about filming on GO.
It seems like Line 4 trains reach the fastest speeds in the tunnels compared to all other lines.
That's because there are more hills on the TTC Sheppard subway line (Line 4). Because TTC subway trains are so heavy, hills and flat surfaces affect their top speed, acceleration and deceleration. On flat surfaces, TTC subway trains normally go 50-60 km/h between stations. On a downhill, TTC subway trains accelerate slightly faster and its top speed can be reached much sooner. As for uphills, TTC subway trains aren't usually able to go faster than 40-45 km/h. It just depends on how steep the hill is. TTC subway trains can only climb a hill of 5% or less (I think the maximum is 5%). Portions of the TTC Sheppard subway (Line 4) where trains can reach really fast speeds are: - Don Mills to Leslie Station (westbound only) - Bessarion to Leslie Station (eastbound only) - Bayview to Bessarion Station (eastbound only). - Sheppard-Yonge to Bayview Station (both ways) There are even a few portions of the TTC subway Lines 1 (Yonge/University/Spadina) and Line 2 (Bloor/Danforth) where subway trains can reach very fast speeds due to lots of downhill. This is where I noticed it on lines 1 & 2: Line 1 (Yonge/University/Spadina): - Finch to North York Centre Station (southbound only) - Sheppard-Yonge to York Mills Station (southbound only) - Lawrence to York Mills Station (northbound only) - Eglinton to Lawrence Station (northbound only) - Yorkdale to Lawrence West Station (southbound only) - Wilson to Sheppard West Station (northbound only) - Pioneer Village to Highway 407 Station (northbound only) Line 2 (Bloor/Danforth): - Kennedy to Warden Station (westbound only) - Warden to Victoria Park Station (westbound only) - Royal York to Old Mill Station (eastbound only)
I noticed a mistake in the description of this one as well: You put St Andre Station instead of St Andrews! Anyway, more about the videos I'm making: I'm cutting off the bottom where it shows the names as well as trimming the beginning & ending of these videos because I think it's better to just put the effects on the actual footage & I can just link it back to this vid if people want to know. I also think as much of the stops should be cut out as possible, so if you think I should try looking for the TTC Stations uploaded separately, let me know. As for what app I'm going to use, it's called Mega Photo. You should check it out if you haven't heard of it before, and feel free to fire off any number or pairing of numbers that you like the look of & want to see what these videos look like with it/them applied. It might take a few dozen short videos, but you should probably consider my other idea, if not in exactly the same way because you feel the sudden jump from inside the train to outside & seeing the top would be too jarring, than maybe as a different video series following the same route but shorter because there is less outdoor sections. Getting the app will also tell you which combos are impossible or lead to undesirable outcomes such as the whole screen being the same colour so that nothing can be seen. Otherwise, I'd have to post long number lists.
Thanks for letting me know about the error in the description; it's been corrected. However, Watershed Video Production Inc. cannot provide permission to use any footage from any of the videos on the channel or any other portion of the videos. Sorry.
Found a mistake in the description! You said that the title is ten minutes into it when you should have said seconds. Now for some questions: How much are these permits usually? Do I need permission from someone other than you to use this video? What do you think of the idea of breaking this up & inserting top down videos of the TTC Subway Trains taken from overpasses whenever there's an outside/uncovered area between stations? I'm thinking about putting one or more filters (Any preferred colours or styles if I have your ok?) on this & probably some instrumental music that isn't too mainstream to get them a little more attention.if it's not so old that the composer/artist is dead. The only parts of this I could see a reason to redo is the outdoor ones earlier in the day or in a different season if not both. Regardless, it (Outside conditions.) should probably match the videos filmed from the street. You should probably collaborate with more than one person if you like the idea & want it done in a timely fashion/matter. Have you ever been to Cedervale Park?

Great 😊👏👏👏👍
rip
Line 3 shall always have a home on my channel. :P
Did you already do Metra Commuter Rail
No, I haven't. I do intend to reach out to them at some point, but their filming policy restrictions seem to indicate that filming from this point-of-view may not be possible. I know they have done some of this on their own, but a third party filmmaker might not be allowed to.
funnnnnnnne
Why does line 2 have so many curves in real life, despite it being striahgt on all maps? Does it oscillate across bloor street?
Line 2 is ‘mostly’ just north of Bloor Street but the distance north of the road is not consistent, it does weave back and forth a bit, and Bloor Street itself isn’t perfectly straight, either. Turn on the ‘transit’ layer on Google Maps and it shows just how curvy Line 2 really is.
Why Don Mills is so empty ?
Start of the line and everyone was already on the train.
Your place is where your heart is ❤
Unforgettable my home away from home 💖 ❤
I needed to see this. Thanks for recording.
Relaxed doesn't begin to describe the trip. Snail paced would have been more apt, it's that slow. Why so?

Every time I hear her saying "Arriving at Dumbass...Dundas station". Every. Time. I have a theory that it was made intentionally. I rewound several times and every time I hear "Arriving at Dumbass...Dundas station" and I hear it always when I use the subway. Is it only me? Am I getting insane?
I mean, what's wrong with extending the line westward to connect to another yellow station?
There’s an ongoing study to do just that… www.metrolinx.com/en/projects-and-programs/sheppard-extension
Make the audio louder next time, please :)))
There needs to be a railing in place at station platforms that are wider than the train. Montreal has one such station: Guy-Concordia. And they did that on both sides.
What are you talking about?
this is a really sick video
What was that beeping time over time?
I noticed that the same BMW passing at 50:43 was pulled over at 55:25.
How do you always get 8224 😭
I had my own personal bus for two days. :)
@@GrandRiverTravelTransportationoh thats awesome! And great videos!!
@@GrandRiverTravelTransportation That makes more sense since they usually only use XD60's and D60LFR's and LFS CNG's, not xd40's.
39:04 where does he come from
Don’t you not know a ghost when you see one? LOL Seriously though, there was an operator change when the train arrived at the station with a really long wait, I cut out some of the wait time from the video.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Looking forward to the extension to High Tech in Richmond Hill.
It should be liw floor train😊
What is unique about highway 6 is how it is broken into two segments by the ferry. It still is a very beautiful drive though!
I live in Calgary🤩🤩🤩
44:58 I went to that station
0:40 - Finch 2:21 - North York Centre 3:48 - Sheppard-Yonge 6:35 - York Mills 9:26 - Lawrence 14:30 - Eglinton 16:41 - Davisville
Oh... That's A Big Sale!
34:22 as of 2024 Scott Road now has the R6 Scott Road RapidBus
Sadly this line is extinct like the dinosaurs 😢
58:50 next station is: eglinton. Eglinton station. *Change for Line 5.*
No caption huh?
12:00 Marlborough to Franklin and 32:21 Sunalta to Shanganappi point
My fav stations
Can I guess? Is the transition point at 11:38?
