I found this while searching for videos of John Allen Cameron for my grandfather - he absolutely loved this tribute ❤ thank you for sharing
Also was at this concert. This duo was show stopping!
Just had to watch it one more time to make sure that I was seeing and hearing ok. Yup, perfection!!!
Cape Breton. I have not seen it yet, hopefully soon.

Holy mother of god. I saw a sweet little girl in a gaming shop dirty little ticket ,foster care two daddy's got to love social services 😂
Glad someone recorded this.
Yé effrayant ! As good as Fitzgerald or Angus Chilsohm. What i'd like to hear him live. It is 15 hour in car from home.
That’s about as classically Cape Breton as a set can get! Love! Bog an Lochain / Johnny Wilmot's Fiddle(s) / Mr. J Forbes / Nine-Pint Coggie / Saint Andrew's Flight / Hull's reel
I’m so used to calling the Nine Pint Coggie "Clanranald", which for some reason it’s called in Donegal, where I learned it.

Anybody know the name of this tune?
I remember John Allan and Jerry Holland coming to Northfield Mass...so wonderful to have met these two
Not many fellas could follow that stuff, even got John looking.
Truly the Son Cape Breaton..God bless.
That's the King's Reel jig.
Absolutely fantastic as always
If this isn't perfection, then what is!!! One of the very best in the world!!!!!
Is All Along the Watchtower still on RUclips? I can't seem to find it.
Hmmm ,,, Great music and great band but I wonder ,,, is the woman playing and stomping Swiss ??
Scott
Scot
It was meant as a compliment , not really as a question ,,, She stomps in absolutely perfect time ,,, so perfect in fact that a Swiss watch could be timed just from her stomping ,,,, Swiss ,, Swiss watches , , timing perfection ,,.her stomping and keeping time ,,,
@@russcorbett3923 Right.
Good one.
Please come to West Virginia.
Can anyone tell me the name of these tunes?
The reel starting at 2:55 mins is called The Last Mile by my husband Mark Stewart.
@@BodhranMasterclassMatur suksma😊
Do you happen to know the name of this tune?
I believe it may be called "Southern Melodies"
@@brucemacewen1488 Thank you!
It appears that 'nothingnothing' took offense to my wee post below, believing that I was derogatory towards Dwayne's playing abilities by praising his father, nothing could be further from the truth! I appreciate and admire young Cote's playing and merely attempted to resurrect his fantastic father's musical skills. Plus, I was privileged to play with Gordon, but never shared a set with Dwayne, hence my post. Anyways, I see no reason to change my post as I'm speaking from MY experience and not 'nothingnothing's' expert opinion, LoL! as we say in Glasgow where I come from "Get a grip, yurr heid's aw mince!"
First album I ever owned, age 9, was "Here Comes John Allan Cameron " I saw him many times. Loved him! I'm 58 now
Great toon Cyril, remind me a wee bit of Gerry Rafferty's "Her Father Didn't Like Me Anyways!" LoL! Good Luck buddy!
Anyone know the name of the second tune?
It’s by Jerry Holland - 'Johnny Wilmot's Fiddle'
@@erikm8372 Hey, thanks so much!

The first Cape Breton artist I was introduced to
We used to go to taping of his TV show in Montreal at 405 Ogilvy.
FANTASTIC
That's real music of the Scots!!!
Anyone know the names of these tunes. This is absolutely, lovely Scottish music. I keep playing this again and again. This Scottish music is rich!!!
Wow! The intensity you might expect at Carnegie Hall. What a performance. Thank you for this...... four years late
I saw John Allan and Julie Amato perform a medley of Nova Scotia songs together on Julie's CTV network variety series in 1978 (originating from CFCF-TV in Montreal; Julie sang the Cape Breton Lullaby herself during that medley). I watched it on CTV affiliate CKCO-TV, on its signal from Sarnia/Chatham, Ontario (I think) when that signal came in well in the hometown of my youth, Cleveland Heights, OH, and I recorded that show onto an audio cassette (John Allan also sang a song by himself earlier in that show. I think its title was "Can You Imagine").
I found out later that the title of that last song I mentioned is called "Song for the Mira (Out on the Mira)".
Love it... Great Entertainer, much missed....
I.miss my old friend David owen i . what to see you live beand. In Uxbridge . Can you please send me my cell phone number 289251 4560 Wendy Jones
Was Cassie MacDonald filling in for Chrissy Crowley?
Sounds great. Ya still got it✌🏽
Classic key of A Cape Breton tunes.
I can hear a High Bass Tune, Hoch Hey Johnnie Lad, Trip to Windsor , The Cape Breton Fiddlers Visit to the Shetlands, Magnetic Hornpipe and a few other tunes I am unsure of the names.
I think the first strathspey is Christy Campbell
The second strathspey is the Editor’s Favourite, the third is Lucy Campbell. I am unsure about the names of the reels.
