I started having this in my lips and eyelids few years ago they stopped and my hands so that all the time for at least the past year. I just assumed it was nerves twitching from how I was holding my hand

My twitchings started 1 month ago. But not that frequent as yours. Maximum 3 twitches in 1 minute, but scare the ... out of me. During this one month they totally disappeared for days three times. And after came back. Sometimes hardly feel them, sometimes they are more intensive but never exceed the 3-4 twiches per minute. There is no sign of weakness, I have to go to the 2nd floor every day in the staircase and it goes normally, just as prior to the twiches. Not even small palm of finger weaknesses: I got no problems with the buttons of my shirts or my shoelaces. But these come and go twiches truly scare everything out of me... Anyway, what do you tip? Too much anxiety?

It definitely seems that twitching is just an additional symptom only. The first and the main symptom is always the muscle weakness and the gradulal loosing of functions.

My legs also do this, but I was not diagnosed as als…. I get terrible Charley horses at night…I was diagnosed as benign cramping fasciculation syndrome

I have been experiencing muscle twitching in random spots of my body. No weakness or other symptoms. I googled and ALS was the first thing that came up . Now I’m freaking out. I have an appointment on the 29th of April. Did yours start with twitching? What was the duration between your muscle twitching and weakness? Praying for you
