Matthew did an exceptional job of asking the right questions (as he often does) and Seth Garber provided actionable tips that can lead to personal, professional and business growth. This is probably the second time I’ve heard Seth talk about the pivotal moment in his life where he decided to have an even greater impact. How do you show up? How you are thought of? How you are remembered? Ask yourself these questions, not in a narcissistic manner but more along the lines of helping others. Other advice: 1. “DROP THE EGO!” - you can be competitive without being a jerk. 2. “Make a decision” 3. “Book recommendations” - pick an operating system and crush it! Rather than chasing different ideas constantly…. 4. It’s okay to say “I don’t have enough information to provide an educated answer…” rather than answering a question just to answer a question….

This is extremely helpful! Using this metric is super simple! We try to make our routes so dense that we can park our service vehicle at one location and can almost walk down the street to service multiple locations.

I have never stopped and rewinded and replayed a video so much. I will check this on Monday. I know for a fact we have more than 5 Gold routes but a large majority are Bronze. We also have, as Seth mentioned, routes where revenue per miles driven makes it worth it. We do some routes in Paradise Valley and Scottsdale where it takes us an hour to drive there but the revenue is outstanding. Very helpful video. Thank you Marcus and Seth.

Solid practical advice

 A sesshin (接心, or also 摂心/攝心 literally "touching the heart-mind") is a period of intensive meditation (zazen) in a Zen monastery. While the daily routine in the monastery requires the monks to meditate several hours a day, during a sesshin they devote themselves almost exclusively to zazen practice.
