Thank you for actually using them for a while and giving us a real review. I would have loved if you said anything about the quality of the calls, and the intensity of the ambient mode and talk through mode. Cheers
Thanks! Overall the call quality is ok, for eg. the buds can filter out some wind but not the heavy blows. Both modes have different level settings, so you can change them to fit your needs.
I owned old version of S mic, is it worth upgrading to the new one? Thank u
Hi! I have not tested the older model, however - based on information that is available on the internet, it seems that there are not any huge differences between them. A basic facelift in my opinion, I don't see a need for upgrade.
does it come with wifi and blue tooth
Hi! No, it does not have neither one.
My phone has better specs than chromebook
Hehe, and sadly that is true 99% when comparing standard android phones to standart chromebooks
I realized that when i played minecraft education against my cousin phone ran 90fps chromebook 40 and lagged less only worse thing about phone was smaller screen @@OneHandOnTech
i got a fella who supplied me with i5(10th gen ) 8gb hp chromebook - refurbished - for 140 euro ..and i could not have been happier for that price.
Sounds like a great deal!
thanks for this review, does it pick up your voice if you have the mic further away, lets say 50-60cm away from you on top fo your desk? How does perform in discord? I have watched some other reviews and some say it has low gain. Im also looking at hyperx solocast as a better option, what do you think?
Hi! Well if you move it away from your sound source (mouth), you have to increase the gain. And when you do that the mic picks up more sounds around you for eg. PC fans, squeezing chair, or other people. So often you must keep it as close as possible. Works well with Discord, no issues there. I don't have experience on the Solocast, I'll see if I can get my hands on one in the future :)
@@OneHandOnTech thanks!
I have an issue with mine I can't turn them on I have the case fully charged but they don't charge at all
Sounds like they are broken.
8:03 how about Synape's noise canceling? did you test the Mic with it? i used SteelSeries Sonar AI feature with a cheap Mic in the past and it worked like magic! the typing and other noises were completely muted
Hi! As far as I understand - this is not something that Synapse or the Mini supports. I did check the software, Razers page and did some Googling. If you have more on this, please let us know.
so like for the gain control, i dont get how it works, when i drag the knob it shows blue lights that moves from side to side, what does it mean if you may please answer?
like is it controlling the volume at which you hear your mic, or the sensitivity of the mic
Hi! Yes, the blue lights that move when you move the knob tell the level of gain. Gain in the distance of how far the microphone pickups the sound no matter what the pattern is.
Yes, that is also correct. You can also hear your own voice (what the mic picks up) from the headphones when they are connected. Gain defines what you hear (how far you hear the sounds that the mic picks.)
@@OneHandOnTech thank you very much!
Hey there! I just bought the regular 2 and not the S. Do you think the S is much better or is it just overkill?
Hi! Based on the specification; "normal" 2 should be solid choice.
Thanks a lot! I was looking for a video review, but the microphone is just too new. Because of your review, I bought it.
Exactly the type of comparison video i was looking for. I have the C920 and considering updating to MX Brio. Greetings from Greece, kiitos!
Tell me you're finnish without saying you're finnish
so can i lol
Perkele!
Hi. One question. When you turn on the computer, the quadcast turn on or unmute the mic automaticaly?
Hi! It turns on automatically with the PC. It is not muted by default.
@@OneHandOnTech Thank you! But is it possible set muted as default?
I do not see an option for this in the software, so I have to say no.
Why can't they make a full sized keyboard "With attached palmrest that doesn't suck and stop working like the G613. So sick of these tiny keyboards
I've been lately using HyperX palmrest with my G915 - it works quite nice as both are slim models. On my gaming keyboard, the Keychron - I ended up using standart Kensington as it was pretty same height as the KB.
Hi there, I use the same earpieces and they are quite decent. They have one major/dealbreaking problem though, is there any way to solve it? Major issue: when you touch the sides of the earbuds they either pause music (good), or they make my iPhone call the most recent contact (bad). Which is VERY annoying and never - ever - what you want your earbuds to do. I agree, changing the rubber pads is also quite frustrating. Also, when the battery of one of the ears is near empty, it warns you with a very loud signal sound, so loud that it actually hurts my ears. And it repeats every like 20 or 30 seconds.
Hi! Sadly there is not a fix for this issue and that is the reason why I did also stop using these daily - I did end making daily "pocket calls" when putting them in my ears. I did always push it down once and it automatically called to last number. For that reason, I don't feel anymore that I can recommend these - basically some entry TWS set from eg. JBL could be better because they have a software where you can change what touching the ear piece does.
@@OneHandOnTech Thanks for your swift response. It means a lot knowing that we both shared in the same suffering through the unwanted pocket calls, hehe. Shame, because apart from that they are really nice for a low price. Have a nice day!
Dude adjust your settings and add fsr 3
Thx, I'm planning to make another video once the NPU has real effect on gaming performance.
@OneHandOnTech NP 😊 I'm on ROG ally z1E running medium settings with a few settings at low and some off. I get roughly 120fps maybe a couple frames under.
hey bro , thanks for the vid. Are optical switches better for gaming than mechanical switches? I'm asking because Logitech doesn't have any gaming keyboards that use optical switches yet.
Keychron has a nice comparison page about these: www.keychron.com/blogs/news/what-is-optical-switch-and-why-choose-it In a nutshell; optical switches are faster and the should last longer. But so far they are not hot-swappable, so you can't really change them if you don't like them. Compared to mechanical ones where there are tons of different switches these days :)
Thank you finnish jesus
Say, what's the battery life like on this after a few months?
To be honest, I have not really tested that out - after a day I always connect my wireless devices for charging over night.
isnt it the other way around with the sticks? i looked up the manual and it says slot 2 and 4 for the first dual rank :)
You are correct! I had to check them - it was not the closed to the CPU as I understood. I should have check the places from silk print on the motherboard.
it was fun )Thank you for sharing this )
Hey man, thank you so much, I just upgraded my 2080S after 5 years, the 7800xt is a nice upgrade and I got to sell my 2080s to get some of the money back, your video was very helpful to make the decision
Is it possible to disable the auto-rotate? A friend handholds the webcam a lot and hated this on a previous Brio. We both have the C920 so this was the perfect video to help us research. Great job going through the features especially the various time-of-day lighting demonstrations.
I did not find any option for this from the Logitech's software - so I have to say "no".
Do you have a full review of this device? AMD?
Hi! This was only done in short clips to TikTok and RUclips Shorts - I could do a full one once NPU's get utilized more this fall. I don't have access to AMD devices from OneXPlayer at the moment - I would like to test them too.
@@OneHandOnTechthe AMD version really outshines the Intel
Most likely, this is kind of the first gen try for Intel as with the AMD there have been devices available for some years so the Zen processors are more tuned for this. But I'm still hopeful that the NPU this device has will be utilized better in games in coming years - so in future this might actually be a good gaming devise. But that is all up to how software development for the NPU's goes on.
The cost of batteries depends upon the size: here in the U.S. the 4ah battery sells for around $25-$30; if they're charging 50 Euros for the same size battery, then that's very expensive. My local store had the single charger on sale for $5, and the dual battery charger sells for around $25-$30. I use Ridgid power tools and the cheapest I can get their dual battery charger for is $119 - big difference. The great thing about the Parkside tools is the 3 year warranty, although to be honest, these tools are solid and seem like they're built to last. I've purchased a number of battery-powered Parkland tools for garden work: lawn mower (double battery), chainsaw, pole chainsaw, line trimmer, vacuum/blower, and hedge trimmer. So far, I haven't had an issue with any of them. In Europe, Parkside has a huge product catalog - stuff that sadly, is not available here in the US.
Thanks for sharing - I did not know that batteries are so cheap in US, little envy to you for that :) Yeah, the overall feel of the tool is solid - so I do believe that this will last long. I've also purchased another tool from Parkside, I just need to find time to shoot the video.
Is it worth it
Yes.
@@OneHandOnTech is it good. I have seen many negative reviews regarding its quality and main scroll wheel...
@@Jdbdjdbdkdbdjjd I have not had any issues with the scroll - however, I mainly use this on the road - not daily with DT.
Hi!! just want to ask, is there any backlight bleeding? thank you 🙂
Hi! I did not notice any on the unit that we have.
Great mouse in my opinion.
Nice video and you showed all, maybe just include 5 games in total to show the fps average!
Thanks, good idea! I was aiming to keep the length down so that's the reason why I only did one and added benchmark scores.
Yeah thats good, but since you have timestamps people can Go to their fav section directly
Great job man! Thanks for the video. was very helpful.
also see how you folded the stand from the bottom, you can fold it from the top down so you arent blocking the second vent
True, I did fold it wrong.
they have newer controllers, if you got the ones that came with it you most likely got the apls sticks, the hall effect sticks have a circle under the railing on the controller. Im waiting for the x1 with a and that's dropping son. I think X1 got a bad rap because it has intel, if it had and people wold have been more forgiving. Just check your controller, if there's no circle under the railing on the controller is alps not hall effect
Good to hear, I was told that these were the final versions but I'm glad that you improved :) and yes, they the alps. I do still believe that when OS and game support for NPU's evolves this device can out perform current AMD competitors. But we just have to wait and see.
how can i turn on black level its greyed out
If you push the menu dial on back up or down, you can adjust Sharpness, Brightness and Contrast. If that does not help you can change more setting from "color" in the menu. And final solution is resetting the monitor under "System"
Great review, you and your wife have great humor lol
Thanks and glad you enjoyed our humor :)
[90]
I have a problem on my own ... after I bought my own. I charge it fully but not appear on my bluetooth devices I tried it on my iPhone, iPad and also my MacBook but non of them is not showing. Please help
Heya! Maybe try resetting the unit and then try to find them again from your device? Since I'm "bad" with manuals - I lost mine :( I can't check resetting was done.
you are Finnish?
Hi! Indeed :)
I bought the same monitor. why is it that the stand screw doesnt fully go in to the sort of arm connected to the base (the first screw you put in the video)
On our unit the screw did not go all in, but there is a little pike/pole inside what firmly hold the arm to the base - I think that is is enough.
we used a nut and a washer to make it toight.
Great review! Thank you
Tks for testing and posting. Im not a hard user. I play very gently (as tenacius d say 😂) . I order mine hopefully i found a way to make it better. Cheers
What is your old monitor name
This was to for our PC that replaced old laptop - the laptop had 15.6" VA FHD panel.
Please note that in comparison; C920 was mistyped to C290 :)
The volume rocker on the pro x is made of plastic?
Hi! Yes.
Joo tässä on kyllä paljon opeteltavaa
Vanhalle ihan uusia asioita :)
I used one of my broken HP Compaq LA2306x stands on my new 27" S31C Full HD Monitor, mounted at the back, better quality, with up and down and rotation.
Why is it that when I exit a game or some programs, the HDMI and Screen menu pop up? Really annoying, Can it be stopped?
Odd, we do not have that issue. Think that your unit may have some bad wiring or faulty connection.
It happens if a game runs on a different refresh rate, make sure that monitor refresh rate and refresh rate in game are the same
English works well! You also know what you are talking about. Maybe also could have some production for those who are in the beginning of all the gaming as well as other computer using? Just an idea....
Noted! Maybe a guide to PC's might be in order :)
The controllers feel cheap and hollow!
I have to agree. One reason to this that they don't have battery or Bluetooth chip.
