Imran Khan of Kinda Funny Games recently revealed on the Reset Era forum that the reason the Punch-Out!! series doesn’t have new additions is allegedly because of backlash against stereotypes used in the last game, 2009’s Punch-Out!! for the Nintendo Wii developed by Next Level Games. However, the way this information was allegedly presented to him leads to a healthy amount of speculation.
