Of course, thanks for watching! The tuktuk dropped us off right in the town centre. I stayed in Over the Moon hostel and it was less than a 5 min walk if I'm remembering correctly. The boat itself was around €20, the bus to the border from Chiang Rai was very reasonable too, only €4. The tuktuks are where it can add up as there are no ride sharing apps in Laos but if you are with a group you can bargain it down to a few euro on the Huay Xai side and the Luang Prabang side too. You can also get very reasonable accommodation, in Huay Xai it was €6 and I stayed in Mekong Backpackers in Pak Beng which was €11. So in total it cost approx €50. Hope this helps 😀

Hotteok is available in Seoul and likely any street market. There is a place in Seoul that has apparently the best Hotteok in the city so much that locals line up for it. The most popular is brown sugar, but I prefer the red bean which my Mom made growing up :).

First off, airport food is never cheap 😅 But also, some of the most reasonable street food I've found is the tastiest and best!

Glad you enjoyed these beautiful places despite the humid weather. HK is indeed expensive! I remember going to the 10k buddha monastery and seeing a lot of monkeys during sunset.
