This past year we made the move from a condo in downtown Vancouver to a beautiful homestead in the prairies of central Alberta, Canada. Born and raised in rural southern Ontario, the two of us wanted to get back to familiar roots and raise our family with similar experiences, skills and values that we had growing up.

Thanksgiving Dessert - Chocolate Cheesecake

1/3 Cup Melted Butter
1 & 1/4 Cup Grahm Crackers
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Coco Powder
Cheese cake

1/4 Cup Hot Coffee (black)
1tbsp Vanilla Ext
4 Eggs
3tbsp flour
1 Cup Melted Chocolate (semi sweet or milk)
3/4 Cup Melted Chocolate (semi sweet or dark)
3 Cup Cream Cheese (room temp)
1 Cup White Sugar
1/4 cup sour cream
Chocolate Ganache
-----------
1/2 heavy cream
1/2 Cup + 1tbsp Melted Chocolate
Whip cream topping
------------
2Cups Heavy Cream
2tsp vanilla extract
4tbsp Cocoa Powder
1/4 Cup powdered sugar

If it's powdery snow I'd use a leaf blower to blow off snow.
We will have to give it a try sometime ! ❄️ We have heard people are able to do their laneways with a blower here since the snow is much drier (we are new to the area).

I run a Stihl FS 56 RC string trimmer I originally had a auto speed feed trimmer head on it but I worn my trimmer head down I've been running Stihl FS 56 RC string trimmer for two years now next year will be 3 years but I had tried a Husqvarna 130L and it's light weight

Love the setup. I highly recommend looking into the Packout rolling coffin, it fits so much. Fits perfectly in the back of mine and you could put a platform on top that locks into the Packout.
The packout system is great! Love the idea of incorporating it into the setup!

Modern Prairie Homestead’s Cheesy Butter Chicken with Naan 🔥 Recipe: In one large pot: 1/2Cup Butter 1/2 Head of Garlic 1 Large Onion Juice of 1/2 a lemon 1/2 Cup plain yogurt 2 tsp Garam masala 1 tsp Tumeric 1 tsp Cayenne powder 1 tsp chilli powder 1 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp ground ginger 10 chicken thighs 2 tsp salt 1/2 a block of cream cheese Naan/pita bread : 1/4 Cup Butter (melted) 2 Cups of flour 1/2 tsp salt 3/4 Cups of Milk Combine and kneed 4-5 min then Rest 30 min Fry until golden each side & enjoy !
