I'm one of the people who are too lazy to do it more often than not... In this case I probably wouldn't be worried about art theft based on the T&C disclaimer, but rather the personal data aspect. The US really is the wild west! I took a course on data protection law for my master's and since then I've been so much hell to the no on giving out any details of my IRL self online. 😂😂 I don't want my real name anywhere and don't even want to connect my usernames across services/sites. That's why, when this year, *FINALLY*, I get my life together and create the youtube channel I've been talking about over 10 years, it's going on a pristine account. Engagement be damned.

I’ve been wondering about the Trap Door book since it appeared in yesterday’s thumbnail. I wasn’t sure if it was a book or calendar or something else. It was one of my favourite shows as well.

My studio is a separate building on my farm but it is a fair weather building so I’ve moved to the end of the dinning table. I’m trying to organize my supplies so I can get started and clean up the table easier so my family could actually sit at the table to eat. lol Happy new year❤

OMG you have toys from the 80s

I am pretty annoyed about the "art" you tubers peddling and pushing new art supplies constantly in order to get freebies for themselves, however I do enjoy this video because buying used art supplies is truly worthwhile, it gives a second chance for supplies for valuable resources that would otherwise end up in the landfill unjustly. Just because a tube of paint is half empty does not make the rest of the paint less quality. I also have the habit to value all my supplies, meaning I use them up till there is nothing to sharpen anymore on the pencils. I open up the rest of the tube to get all out. I pay for all of the pencil not only for half, so use all! By all means please start valuing your resources, those are assets for your use. Please artists if you could be all more mindful and promoting this mindset that would also help reducing waste. Who besides you would know if the new set used pencils in the cup mixed in with your existing ones were used by someone else first or by you? ...you see it does not matter. The only thing that matters is that you create and use them.

What a awesome upcycling experience, i use derwent graphitint pencils pans and blocks i really like the smoky color of them i really think you will like them if you just want to play. I use them alot with neocolor2 and derwent inktense. I agree the art median has to feel comfortable within your hand and how you feel laying it on the paper or your other creative art piece Art needs to give you joy within your art soul as your creating your work...happy holidays 🥳🎉🗓2025.

This year I want to make a cohesive grouping of work that could be shown. I am also hoping it will strengthen my portfolio to showcase my style in different mediums.

Oh Happy New Year! So glad you crossed my feed tonite! You had me when you’re holding the little bits of foam saying you’ll find a use for them 😂. I’ll keep little bits of things, sure I’ll find a use for them, and it drives my hubby nuts. I’m here for anything that may trickle down 😂😂😂!

Im so jealous that you have anartisy family member to swap things with!!! I can't imagine. I've tried to turn my sister on to art, but it didn't "take," and it's so hard to find friends that do art like I do. If anyone seeing this happens to be from WV hmu 😂

I found an art supply haul at an antique/vintage store last month. There were 17 Derwent Inktense pencils, plus , 24 prismacolor pencils, 37 Carbothello pastel pencils, one Caran D'ache pastel pencil, an unused sketchbook and one lone Crayola black pencil, all for $5. I think you'd like Derwent Inktense as they are water based ink pencils and very vibrant! I'm loving all the pencils and have become a pencil person! Your haul is just wonderful......those soft pastels are to die for!

Hi Emma I’m new to you,but I wonder what sort off art you do. I tend to draw use watercolour pencils.and acrylic. I have also used soft pastels in the past.

What a thoughtful sister you have! I have been on "second hand shopping era" this year. I picked up some amazing gems on Ebay, as people move on from their supplies. Sometimes these are brand new, as people test supplies and quickly decide they dont like them. I was open to randomness, depending on what came up. I was searching for gouache and specific brands of watercolour. I even found some vintag unopened watercolour sets. So YAY for second hand stuff!

I read the title of your video as "the day of dreaming" 😂 and, judging by your description of the drawing session, it wasn't that far off! That forest, where you and lovely Rolly took us for a walk, is gorgeous! Especially with the sun shining down. Thank you for the video!

When I was 7, my teacher told me that my drawing was ugly, that I didn't know how to draw and that I never would. I believed her for 40 years. In 2022 I decided to check, and now I draw everyday. Some teachers aren't good pedagogues.

The triumphant wave with a blue tack in the air!!!😂😂😂 Nice to see Rolly again, so cute! I am personally definitely not a planner person, I mean, I tried! But it all ends the same, the planner gets forgotten, shoved in the darkest corner of the house and discovered somewhere close to Christmas, then I use it to plan out dinner, decorating and when the guests are coming, and that's it! I came to terms with it, now I just use a piece of paper whenever I need a plan, but I don't mind telling, it doesn't happen often 😂 Yours is looking very serious, it's that sort of planner, that might haunt you, if you don't stick to it. Watch out! 😉
