[TAS] Perfect Dark Escape Agent 1:40
This is a Tool-Assisted Superplay/Speedrun (often abbreviated to "TAS") where a player can edit, rerecord, and manipulate a game into doing whatever that person desires. Visit the tasvideos website for more information.
This TAS involves a huge sequence break using explosives to precisely bounce the hoverbike up the ramp and against a wall you usually have to spend a scripted protect sequence waiting for it to blow up to access the rest of the level. This cuts 37 seconds off the current human/console WR of 2:17 by Lake Demon.
Special thanks to whiteted for updating the LUA map (needed for the hoverbike) to work on newer bizhawk and originally finding this strategy in the first place and he...

@@alkamaass I once did a peaceful mode world, and it took hours to get the eyes of ender. So getting them using books via stronghold is genius!

This seems more like an X-ray glitch, since you can see out of bounds and throw stuff through the level even though you're NOT out of bounds.

Thanks for the comment on the-elite. I spent ages trying to work out how to stop the guard spawn (and didn't even get close to the real reason!).

I've got 55 for now. It's so awkward trying to find the perfect joystick angle for strafing.
even with the XBLA graphics available people are still using the N64 graphics instead hehe
yeah I was going back and forth a bit trying both, had brightness issues so I used a second monitor that was brighter
@@alkamaass Hows the lag? Does looking at the ground save any time in this version?
@@YVX1222 Game runs a locked 60fps. Looking at the ground doesn't matter anymore.
@@YVX1222 yeah there's occasional lag spikes though but that's probably just the xenia xbox emu acting up, it's 60 fps just like PD xbla so not really any lag to be saved from looking down
