You can do it even faster, freeze and use legendary bolt blaster on the weak spot, use the burst mode to empty the clip. Done

Ik it's probably just a joke, but if I remember correctly, machines are armed and hostile because of the corruption of HADES on EPHAESTUS when Nemesis sent the extinction signal. That triggered HADES function, which was to destroy GAIA's failed biospheres (there were 3 that actually failed until GAIA got it right) but this time everything was fine, that's why ELEUTHIA was triggered and humans were born again, it was more of a glitch caused by Nemesis, so the world of horizon is technically building and destroying itself at the same time, that's why machines are hostile against biological life forms, especially humans.

@@emmanuelotanez4902 people are speculating that you get to fight one of those ginormous tentacle machines that are always in ruin. Unfortunately for me the DLC is ps5 exclusive.

Purgewater is really the key for a lot of machines isn't it ?

As soon as you start using it you realize how much use purge water is. Not to mention when they’re in the effect using electric moves really hurt, also frost.

Isn't it better to instead of use the time and resources to fire purgewater and then apply another status effect to just shoot the intended final effect first? From experience sun scourge trumps purgewater's usefulness

@@Denomatus Not necessarily, for something like a slaughterspine they prefer to stick to alot of the plasma attacks until you get primed then charge in to burst you. By applying purge water you can force them into a melee only state allowing for easier use for things like traps or tripwires. Plus you'd want to apply the second status effect when purge is nearly over to maximize the time you have in the first state as it gives you better breathing room as you have less attacks to worry about.

On ultra hard u just freeze it with the Suns scorge and than kill it with the sustained burst weapon technique. Combine that with ranged master and it's easy
